real question, if you could read people's minds and you met someone that really really wanted for u to do to them what MC does to adrianna but is too shy or embarrassed to ever admit or express, do you think that would be ok to do and would you do it?
Since mind readings is not real thing, I guess we should devide this thought experiment for real world and unreal world versions.
In real world, everything is complicated, we don't have mindreading, we don't have absolute knowledge of what person really thinks and wants, even if we let's say did read his/her diary, where he clearly expressed what he wants, it's not 100% anyway, desires is a complex phenomenon, not a variable with binary value, person can fantasise and want to experience certain acts, but at the same time do not want them to really happen, because consequences not worth it, for example. So the best (and only) principle to interact with others - the "no is no".
In unreal world, where everything is simplier, and we know something for sure, it seems like classic ethical dilemma and I would like to hear some qualified philosophers gives it proper discussion, because I don't know right answer. But I guess that what person declares just should be a priority in such topics.
