Just a guess, but it seems like it doesn't like one of the characters in the folder you put the game in. I would rename the folder without that character.

Adrianna is already referred to as 'mom' by MC. Are you trying to change her name from Adrianna to Mom in the dialog box? If so, you could modify the script.rpy file at line 7 from:
define Mom = Character("Adrianna", color="#b072f2") #Purple
to:
define Mom = Character("Mom", color="#b072f2") #Purple

It wouldn't change the dialog. Linda would still call Adriana 'Adriana'. It would just change what shows up when Adriana talks.
I personally wouldn't do it, but if they want to, that is what it would take.

MM. pretty much with a mod.
Otherwise you have to unren it first and change the character name in RenPy.
I don't think you can change it via console but i like to learn if you can.

Press "H" or middle mouse button. It works the same in any game on RenPy engine.

i avoided this game several times after seeing its title and thumbnail and finally got hooked after readings its description.
OH BOI! THIS GAME IS A FREAKING GEM.
It has NEARLY EVERYTHING:
