Today I was in the mood to do some analysis.
and that's what I came up with about Linda's situation. In general, it seems to me that Linda's problem is not worth a damn. after all, she took this step for the sake of her daughter, the daughter committed a rash act, and the mother decided to save her daughter. yes, the mother committed a misdemeanor to her husband without informing him. yes, Linda's mistake, stupid mistake. but not fatal. the husband could, for example, phone himself with these "pornographers" and buy the pictures.
*and here the thought goes further*
why didn't Linda think of such an option for solving the problem, how to report to her husband that her daughter got into trouble of a piquant nature? If I were my husband, I would probably feel hurt, because my pride as the head and protector of the family would be very hurt. there would be a scandal. maybe it would come to breaking dishes. But I definitely wouldn't get divorced. (Or would I? Hell, I don't know how I would have acted. That would be honest)
no, maybe Linda's husband really would have filed for divorce. I myself did the same once, when I found out that my girlfriend was walking with my friend, and when I came to the party to visit and the girl and the friend saw each other, they started telling me that nothing happened. and I understood - it WAS. I felt very gross. endured until the end of the party and then returning the girl home did not return to her again.
but I was young then and did not know that problems can be spoken out and discussed.
if Linda also knew about it - she would not fall into the trap of a blackmailer.
and now i know why RHC hooked me.
"between the lines" I subconsciously saw my own situation.
thanks, @Kalyna.
UPD:
the case with Linda is an object lesson for girls - get married - stop amateur performances, do not create "dark spots" in the history of the family - this can backfire badly. there is a husband - he has and let his head hurt about your problems.
So, the compassionate part about Linda is over. now I have to justify myself, why then the hell do I still wish the MC success in building a harem. because in theory I am hypocritical - pitying Linda in one place and wishing success to the blackmailer in another place.
but probably "where there is an exit and an entrance" - precisely because Linda made a mistake, precisely because she did not consider her husband a husband - she does not have a legal husband as a husband, but a blackmailer.
and here I am already on the side of the MC. it will be fun if, according to the plot, the MC forbids Linda to have sex, not only with other men, but even with her legal husband. I'm not sure about this option, but who knows, the author's "ways" are inscrutable... =)
