Mod Ren'Py Returning To Mia (Summer with Mia 2) [Ep. 10 v1.1.0] Multi-Mod [Sancho1969]

Here's a rough summary of where I'm at for transparency (I'm winging the list here, but this is the gist of it).

• Completely ported to the latest Core v7b
• All bugs I've found in the base VN sorted... I think we're good... maybe.
• Completely rewritten ChoiceGuide from Ep6 forward (I'll work on Ep5 back last)
• Choreographed MiniStat from Ep6 forward (not fun, Ep5 back pending)
• SanchoGallery recoded with two scenes remaining to be populated
• Stat screen updates and refinements
• Recoded Slut buttons to be more similar to the dev's latest code found in LustyVerse (still not perfect though)
• So many minor tweaks and UI changes I don't even recall

That's enough of that. I might get an update out sometime this evening... but it likely won't be finished with the pre-Ep6 rework I really need to do to get all the features up to date. It's so much coding work but I press on.

So, there's the new mod... the cake is still in the oven.

Always appreciate the work you put in to your mods. Can't wait for the release! I generally don't play the game until your mod is released since it's such a smoother user experience overall. Fingers crossed for tonight lol.

I do hope to get something out this evening. I really want to relax a bit tonight with a chilled glass and just mind purge. My update stack has been ridiculous lately with these massive VNs. At some point I need to reduce my public catalog a bit so I can actually progress the mod's Core further and add the new features I've been planning for months.

SanchoNote regarding Ep9 SanchoCheats

Disregard thinking Relp Stat sliders you've seen me do before in other VN's. Let's talk Event toggles.

Most folks accustomed to the mod by now have known that when I code Event cheats I don't simply turn one thing On/Off and let folks go willy-nilly. That's how other mods fuck up save files of the Player since they can later break shit in the game. When something looks simple in SanchoCheats it's really changing many other things to insure your playthrough is a pure as possible and to limit the things that can not be acquired via normal playthrough.

With that background summary out of the way there's some serious complications in this VN regarding some cheats I'd like to have available (customized speedrun cheats I use all the time). You see, things like Mia's relationship status are entirely dependent on the Player's previous choices... not just one but two or more in combination or no combination. The issue becomes that I don't want to presume what a Player might or might not choose... so I'm left with a conflict. Note the below for instance, specifically those two with the red arrows:

My workaround for now is to make a note to the Player... to be cautious (since I'm not changing all the other variables required to make it bulletproof due to the my stance in the above paragraph) or I'm not assuming what the Player wants but rather telling them what is required to make the cheat change (the red arrow to the right).

Now, this is already a wall of text but just know that you should keep your cheating to a minimum with this VN where I've noted so as to insure you have saves that don't later bork out. Maybe after going nuts in the cheat options make a save with the word "cheat" in it so you remember later that it's been altered.

If the VN was complete I'd have it sorted 100%... but I cannot see the future regardless of the amount of alcohol or psilocybin one can safely consume. So there you have it... a very long-winded warning to take it easy in this screen.

Left to do:

• Choreograph MiniStat for Ep1 (geez, this MiniStat coding is a bitch), Ep's 2-9 are done (timeframe unknown, budgeting up to an hour)
• Final code cleanup (up to an hour, varies)
• Compile and integrity check on multiple machines (15-30 minutes)
• Upload to providers when everything passes SOP (irrelevant)

So, tonight's still possible. It's just passed 1900hrs here currently. Gonna take a 5min break then see if I can get this project off my stack. I want this cake out of the oven. It's been a lot of work to get to this point but hopefully the payoff in media consumption enhancement will be worth all the pain.

I want to continue to fuck Giselle with her husband watching (or not) From your comments it seems i must break the rules in order to continue Giselle path. But i want to know also what will happen if i "play by the rules". The name of the scene that happens if i chose that is irrelevant, but that's the only info you give me for that choice.. is Giselle path ended if i chose to play by the rules or what will happen in the future if i chose that? It's confusing since the other choice is meant to continue Giselle path, so theoretically speaking chosing to play by the rules would end that path, is that so ?

So, you really want to know her pathing detail which I can do for this pending mod update to be released today.

In a nutshell and to eliminate confusion: Prerequisite - to be on Giselle's path at all you must have selected "Interested" in Ep6 (Simon asking MC in the restroom).

The choice you presented in the SUV (in post here) differentiates between her path style (Simon is cuck or not a cuck). I had assumed that it was obvious but I'll clarify in the guide:

• Playing by the rules is the Simon non-cuck path split
• Breaking the rules is the Simon cuck path split

Currently (as of Ep9 and all of it's current content), if the player breaks the rules there is one additional scene that otherwise can not be seen on her overall path which is in Ep7.

I'll write the dynamic code to give proper clarity regarding her pathing split, I had thought it was obvious but can see from your post that it may not be.

Think of it this way if I had to break it down to it's most simplest yet detailed form - there's currently 3 Giselle pathing splits (other than None):

• Giselle Simon(Non-Cuck)
• Giselle Simon(Cuck)
• Giselle Simon(ThreeSome) - Note: this pathing split requires either of the preceding and it's a spinoff of those. So, it can be thought of as two variants if you wish: Simon(Non-Cuck / Threesome) or Simon(Cuck / Threesome).

That "SanchoSplit" has a submenu that allows you to specify your preferred LI to carry forward so that your playthough is NOT borked. With that said I cannot tell the future of what the VN developer may or may not do... hence the disclosure of using any cheat of any kind. Bottom line: as of Ep9 that specific SanchoSplit won't break a single thing.

You will not wait much longer, sir. If I leave this cake in the oven much longer it will burn. A massively overhauled SanchoMod for this VN is coming today... unless I kick the bucket before the day's done. The mod looks by appearances almost identical at face value (that took a lot of work) but it packs all the latest horsepower and features.
