He will still be a day or so before he updates, or more, he's still working on finishing up Chasing Sunsets multi-mod.

He is, he's been working on Chasing Sunsets. He is aware just busy, and chek this post here, he knows about the horror stories coming from this release.

Good morning (CST). I'm almost caught up with previous VN updates and about to eyeball this mess. I have to take some time to read the VN's thread to get a grasp of whatever the hell has been going on the past two days or so. Once I study some posts I'll DL the latest and start seeing what's what.
Why do I have a really bad feeling about this one? I hope things are square since the dev has had an eternity since the last update to make things perfect by now. If they are a mess this could get real ugly real fast... but I'm getting ahead of myself. Let me get the facts first.

Get ready to likely play from the beginning... first thing I noticed was this dev also jumped whole numbers on the RenPy foundation (from v7.4.8 to v8.0.3). Just as with Chasing Sunsets I'll do what I can but this ain't my fault folks.

I.... think I've got it. So far now I'm able to load 100% of my saves dating as far back as a year ago (Jun 2022).It's already so nice of you, that restarting a game is not painful, thank you very much

Did you read any of the previous few comments? He's been working on it since this morning, and if you read the game thread then you should realize it's a bug fest. It takes time to do all that and fix bugs and update the mod.

So let me get this straight in my mind:
You give the dev 7+ months but are giving me a few hours?
Seems fair. I get it.
There's a huge difference though in coding from scratch and making instant grits. Good things take time... otherwise they are usually just shit.
