VN Ren'Py Completed Returning to Mia [v1.2.2 Steam] [Inceton Games]

Just coming back to this after a long break. I left off at ep/ch.7, and I am torn. I've always prioritized Mia over everyone else, and for a while, was actively was interested in breaking up with Sadie. I have to say that halfway into ep/ch. 8, my feelings towards Sadie have changed and I do care about her, but only if we can still be with Mia too. Is there any path/chance of Sadie accepting Mia in a relationship with the MC and her? I wasn't sure if I wanted to go through with the threesome with Viv or bail on Sadie to spend more time with Mia and what kind of consequences that would lead to.

I tried being a manwhore, but guilt finally ate away at me enough to end the relationship with Giselle and her husband. I'm still interested in a path with the aunt, Grace, and I foolishly held out hope we'd eventually win over Vivian enough to where we weren't constantly bickering and fighting with her in every scene. Now, while I didn't expect Vivian to be a LI, I was hoping for some fun with her at some point (just sex) but I'm guessing that only happens if we continue with the threesome with her and Sadie?

I guess what I'm trying to ask here is this late into the VN, do we have to choose between being with Mia and anyone else? Is there any chance for a throuple/poly-relationship path? At least that way, I'd know which choices I should make to get the desired ending I want.

At the risk of breaking some hearts, no, there won't be any kind of harem or poly ending. I never intended on it, and if I suddenly now decided to somehow shoehorn one in, it would feel incredibly forced and unrealistic. To be honest, I really dislike that stuff in general, unless the game only had a single ending. Otherwise, I dunno, it's just too... perfect. In my opinion, the player being able to have their cake and eat it, isn't all that interesting, and removes the need to make difficult choices, which I do find interesting. If you're interested in other characters, great, but then I'd suggest you keep multiple saves going to experience their content, also.

It's got a lot to live up to. The ending of the first one was what made me realize that porn games could also be genuinely compelling on a narrative-storytelling level. Which will seem patently obvious to members of this site, but having never even heard of a "visual novel" and only familiar with pornography in other mediums, it had never occurred to me as a possibility.

Fuck, come to think of it, without Summer With Mia I probably never would have bothered to read enough of the text in Power Vacuum to notice that it's the most brilliant comedic novel of our time.

It's important that the MC struggles with giving in to her first the reason you just mentioned. But in the final ep, you'll get to go all the way provided you've made certain choices.
