Oh yeah, what else is there? I think the devs were as surprised as anyone when the two dimensional object of lust they'd set out to create took on a life of her own and turned their rapey incest porn into a genuine romantic tragedy. The only other character that's even marginally interesting in their own right is her lunatic best friend.

I think Mia's a character took on a life of her own, and they've never been entirely sure how that happened or what to do with her. Inceton has clearly developed a successful formula for modular episodic development, and she's too much a bespoke creation to fit.

It's a real shame too. Even though the models/animations/renders are on par with the rest of their work (which isn't a bad thing). The writing in this specific project surpasses all of them by a mile. I don't doubt that they're working on it, but I'd wish they'd prioritize it more since it's easily the best one. I believe the writer for SWM visits this thread occasionally, so maybe they could give us some insight on the current progress if they see this.

A couple weeks after the last episode was released, I set off on a holiday to Europe and just got home a few days ago (don't give me shit for it, it's literally the first one I've had in like 10 years). But now that I'm home, I'll really start working hard on the script for the final ep. As far as an ETA goes, I can't really give an exact one, but it certainly won't take a year like some people have said. If everyone knuckles down, I'd say it could come out in about 4 or so months.

Ah that makes sense. Not that you need the validation but it's great that you took some time to yourself. So I definitely don't fault you or the team for the lack of progress. Just disappointing (for lack of a better word) since this is the project I look forward to the most. Best of luck on writing the next episode. Looking forward to what you cook up.

Yeah...but is it really "waiting" if you don't start the game until it's done? Saves a lot of frustration and thread-scrolling looking for clues on updates.

Well that would be fantastic. Thanks for checking in and posting in this viper's den of opinionated fans. As a few of the most recent posters have pointed out, something about this character organically emerged at some point, making her so much more interesting than other game characters. It's both a tribute and added pressure, I get it. Good luck.
