probably or they are just lazy . their whole update team is a mess .iirc patreons were complaining about update sizes almost 2 years ago but inceton never responded to them.

dunno if they use webps or pngs but 15+ gigs it's getting bit too big.

iirc they have always used pngs/mp4 instead of webp/webms . which is why this game was like over a gb by episode 2

Looking through ep9 - it's .jpg and .webm. It's just that there's almost 25k images (video is just over 350 mb)

Holy shit - never payed much attention to the compression differences between the two but I just picked a mid-sized (470k) image from ep9 and got it down to 50k by converting it to webp.... this game could literally be 3 gb

You still don't need to pay if you have a decent VPN (ie Private Internet Access that everyone should have anyway, unless they like being spied on) and the Mega client. 5GB limit hit = change IP's = another free 5GB that will pick up where it left off. Even with as much shit as I download I don't even use 10 IP's a day (and they have 30k+ servers). Granted, this will not work forever, I'm sure once they realize almost no one is paying and everyone is free it will prob be 100% paywalled with no free bandwidth from anyone at all, so take advantage while you still can.

So is there a season 3 coming or does the story actually end? ("completed" really should mean no more updates, not the end of a season).
