Sometimes it's the little things that make me start to dislike a game... The unavoidable scene with Linda on day 15 is it.
To me, it's a scene that comes out of nowhere, since I opted out of the one on day 14. And tonally, it's entirely wrong. This is a woman who he believed for over 10 years was responsible for his pain, who he set clear rules for about the behavior he expected from her. But suddenly, she's his goddess.
The MC agreeing to her invitation completely turns the power dynamic on its head. This is worsened by him saying things like "Your beauty deserves to be worshiped."
You just don't suddenly get over hating someone for 10 years, even after you realize your anger was misplaced. And besides all of that, Linda has plenty to make up for. The worst part of it was Linda telling Clara that the MC's cock finally convinced her to change. What's the message? That she'll now be addicted to his cock instead of gambling, and if she ever doesn't get her fix, she'll start to act out again? With so many women around the MC who need to get knocked up, Linda should've been the last on the list.
Edit: Dev, if you're going to have a character who says that the MC saved her from getting raped the umpteenth time, maybe not have her immediately fawn over the MC? You're shying away from showing the rape because that would be insensitive or NTR, but then don't do anything with the traumatizing event this character went through. So, why have it at all? Shock value? Edginess?
"If it wasn't for you, Korben would have raped me for the umpteenth time, or..."
