I've finally managed to test my torrent and can confirm all is well. I've also reported the post to moderators and they can decide if they want to add it to the OP or not.

I've spun up 4 extra nodes to help seed the file better, have fun all!

I havent tried so I will see if the webp version is crap, I have no problem downloading 17gb . I dont get compressed games, but since I have never played the game, I was unsure if its just 17gb because the dev didnt do any compression to webp from his rendered results.

The game indeed is 17,28 GB in size. That's plain stupid, in my opinion. But maybe it's worth the size if you're playing the game on a 200 inch television.

I still haven't played this game, I'm going to download it for the first time now. But one thing I can tell you for sure is that with the right settings webp can offer basically the same level of quality as a png, or at least so close that you wouldn't be able to tell the difference but using only a small part of the space needed by a png of a similar level of quality. I don't know if that's the case with this game since this will be my first time with it (but I think the file is way too small so I'm guessing there's more compression than necessary), but if the developer decided to go with webp from the beginning the game would be smaller, it would probably look the same, and you'd have no idea it's not png unless you saw the files yourself.

Using uncompressed assets for everything not only in this kind of game but in any game is a waste of resources for the user and it doesn't offer any real advantage.

Why not? Addressing overarching feedback concerns like that earlier in this specific game's development lifespan probably would of gone a lot further for in relationship to keeping this dev's investment incentive level at it's initial 100% here then trying to cater to any player who would actually cheer this "power fantasy" on as a "I love it!" story.


If anything this game is one of the better cautionary game tales here that no matter how top of the food chain those renders/animations may be, and no matter how well received that first release installment comes across....an overly cringy to most story (especially outside that small but super vocal piracy posters here with a very specific set of sensitive game needs) tying it all together can still essentially sink a lot of that premium effort elsewhere.

well im a pc gamer - so i dont care about file-sizes

(a hint - the full versions missing a lot of webm files (atleast all i had dl´d)- the compressed version has them
i copied the "movie" folder over from the compressed version to the original 17gb version)

You are right however there are very few who want strong female characters. I mean have seen some of the female protagonist games/avns on this site?
