Sorry but that's complete nonsense. Just because there are bigger HDD available we can waste drive space and design bad software? Software must be efficient. Using a format (PNG) that takes 90% or more space than the proper ones is totally unprofessional and illogic.
All the big Internet data holders (I have read messages from Facebook, Amazon...) are pressing browser vendors for the adoption of Jpeg XL, a new format more efficient than old Jpeg and WebP. Keeping files smaller and transmission more efficient is very important. So yes, also porn game developers should know the tools they are using.

Dude, it is very important for Facebook, Amazon and their grandma because it is cheaper for them, that's what efficient means for them.

Meanwhile me and every other user with a large high quality display will appreciate when a dev gives us the option to get a PNG version of his VN. You can keep fapping to WebP compression artifacts.

I'm getting this error when i try to open the game. I downloaded the update from 0.45 to 0.5 uncompressed.
