Hi, it's hard for me to understand that you don't like RoL. I have read many novels and the beginning of this one, because it is true that it has fallen short, has been one of the best by far. The protagonist is one of the few who does not have the face of a child and the script promised to be very original and profound. I'm sad that it ends like this.

I don't get how can people's bar for porn games could be this uber high! Are they expecting oscar worthy story?! The number of games that would be considered "phenomenal" wouldn't even take 5 fingers to count. I personally was a fan of this one and used to check once in a while for update and now I feel super guilty for not supporting the dev. And what you said about the mc is so damn true! He was truly unique.
Well before abandoned this one why don't release the 0.8 ? i mean it is final,right? I personally love this one than guy in charge.

Sadly, the author abandoned it, because of too much shit was thrown at him and this game.

Hey guys! Sorry I've been away for so long. Life has been pretty crazy the past few months but that's not the only thing. I've been feeling burned out and lost all will to continue development. What little time I had left after work I would much rather not spend working on a game. So, I took a lot of time off and now I wanted to give you my plan for the future. I will be starting development on The Guy in Charge since that game is pretty close to finishing. There are just a few more paths to wrap up. Regarding Revenge or Love, I will sadly be abandoning that game. Ever since I started development on RoL, reception of it has been pretty bad with many people writing me comments saying that they don't like the game. This has lead to me feeling incredibly burned out working on a game that was getting such a bad reception. I am really sorry about that. I never wanted to be a developer that abandons projects but I have 0 passion left for that game. There you go. I will start working on the next update for The Guy in Charge. I have no idea when the update will be out and I don't want to give you guys an estimate since I have a history of not being able to meet deadlines. Thank you to all those who stuck around and I hope that this time I won't disappoint you guys. If you have any question post them here and I will do my best to answer them!

sad it got abandoned, i personally was mostly waiting on more content before getting invested in it cuz 2 main paths from the beginning sounds interesting but thats literally twice the work.

why i hate slow burn games. show hardly any content, like A perfect marriage , for a year or more then abandon it
so the next game will be in RPG Maker? Well, i don't know what to say but I hope this game (RoL) still alive after Developer come back from "death".
