So I'm confused on what I should be doing for Lani scenes. I have a romance interaction to talk to her in her room but it just makes the MC leave after a short dialog.

Only takes into account Liam's level so the highest you can be if going for challenger 10 is level 14.

Need to be 46 levels or more below the enemy for Challenger 10.
The exact is greater than 45 level s difference.

In addition the Giant Metal Slime is all but immune to physical attacks so Lani will be useless against it.

Thanks for trying to answer, but I had just tested it & it worked (used Liam 29 and Lani 1)
Tho I needed about 2k int for enough mana--to use the level 8 or 10 party healing spell, which revives Lani whenever she dies

Lani was helpful, taking the agro--since they target her before Liam--which allowed the party to survive & actually win.
Way better/easier than trying to beat a Metal Slime at lv 9 or Giant one @ lv 15

Odd question but this is a file type i am unfamiliar with what runs it as the guide doesn't want to open after i decompressed it like i usually do for dot rar folders?

The file is a spreadsheet. It can be opened with Microsoft Office or Libre Office. Libre Office is free to use.

Easiest way for high stats is to open revival_summary.rpy file and put
$player.str = ? (your preference)
$player.int = ? (your preference)
$player.agi = ? (your preference)
$player.end = ? (your preference)

though make sure they are aligned correctly. Use Lani.str to make sure of alignment.
Will make it so everytime you die and revive you'll start with the stats you choose.


Downside is everytime the game is updated you'll have to do it again.

Only affects after first death.

Before first death is the same except it is chapter01.rpy

Factions and Gods had no id or image fields
lani (but not marla) had no total_affection_earned field.

MC seems weirdly weak on HP. I had to train endurance a lot more than I remember to stop getting oneshot in the 4* dungeon. At this point I've played enough that most titles are already maxed out.

Lani could tank things no problem, she ends up with 3x my HP.

Is it just me or is the game different than I remember from a few versions ago?

The dad model looks like a very fat baby, I never saw Bess at the house at all, the mom/bess/dad spying scene was missing. I like the newer variety of historic discussions of shoes, orgies and mud though. I laughed.


Love the humor of the setting, looking forward to finding out what's going on with the prince/ess.

ok the lani hp thing is stupid seeing as how its not a bug its how her stats work, like how the fuck is that a bug? and how the fuck is you not seeing stuff, or the dads, appearance changing, or the game game being updated, a fucking bug? like do you even know what a bug is? and the spying scene has been removed for quite some time and there's another scene where bess is at the house so this almost entire post is a blatant lie

You don't. The whole point of this game is to die, and die again; as the Time Goddess herself says at some point, it's the only way that Liam can get stronger

A typical play-through (for me):
1) I die to the cockatrice in first life, after making sure I use the first 30 days to build all stats to 30 or more (to unlock titles), while also taking time to unlock Magic and to get Soul Box to level 2
2) I live my next couple of lives until day 50 or 60, just about, always making sure I reach next levels for main stats. I don't even bother exploring: just temple work and guild quests, and succubus dungeon. Only when I have the full mind resistance title after dying four times in the succubus dungeon do I start exploring in the next lives. At that point, I'll stretch my lifetimes to around day 100
3) etc.

dude exploring first is better plus then you can get soul box level easier. and there is no level to stats in this game.
