I don't think he cares if we post it here, the reason why updates are so slow is because he had major surgery on his hand and I don't think he recovered well. Also there's a literal port of this game by another developer that gets posted here alongside the updates so...

It isn't about if he cares or not, it's to show we want to motivate and not just immediately pirate. We're pirates, not monsters.
I think you're missing the point, he's crippled- anymore "motivation" would shorten the four month wait by a week. Almost nothing will change from his schedule whether we post it today or yesterday, and for the biggest reason that this won't affect anything is that he doesn't care if it's leaked. He likes the series and bases his updates on the more or less current events of the show.
