Status Report May 2025:
Another month down, and it's once more time to report on where the project is at. As I've said before, the amount of time I'm giving to this project has gone WAY down from where it was. Any time I am spending on the project is going towards the epilogue, it's just going very slow.
Before I get on with the status report, for anyone that missed it, there is a minor patch out, which you can get
here or in the OP. This adds
Tricia into the ending, and is again very, very minor. More a correction than new content.
Moving onto the project, this month I made the largest amount of progress on it since I began working on the epilogue. I'd say it's about half~ish written. I also "finished" two more major art elements (one I've been neglecting to work on for more than a month), and made good progress on what I would consider the "biggest"/most complex art asset of the epilogue (it's nowhere near done though). So, things are moving forward, but again, not quickly.
I still don't have a release date (not soon), but I do want to complete it this year (even if that is midnight UTC-12 on Dec 31st (but, hopefully before that)).
Lastly, just a reminder that development time doesn't equate to play length. While it isn't all written so this is just a guess, I think in it's final state it will be 15~20 minutes of gameplay (obviously depending on how much you skip/fast you read). It's slow because I'm just not excited to spend time working on it, so I often don't... (again, I'd much prefer porting assets to making them).
