like fucking Kitty on multiple occasions while Frank was asleep on the couch nearby or something.
Yeah, that is Morty's first encounter with her (and it only happens once in both games). It is mostly unchanged in the current version and has some minor alterations in the next version.
Someone out there is a Kitty fan, I'm sure.
Oh for sure, different players enjoy different characters. For me personally, one off and side characters are just by their nature less interesting to me. And while I don't hate any of them, I do have to choose what things I want to spend time on. A character in a scene I personally never replay (except to make fixes to), isn't one that will get a lot of my focus.
Canonically it's "Toxic Morty" if we are referring to the negative emotions that were extracted from Morty turned into humanoid form in "Rest and Ricklaxation".
I'm sure Detox Morty was the inspiration for the character we got here, but in the game it is a confidence enhancer potion that is responsible for the "bad/evil/anti" Morty personality. Again, he is just "Morty" in the original and I added the "Anti-" part because I liked it the best? I guess he also could be "Toxic-Morty" instead, that does has a fun ring to it. I'm not likely to change it at this point unless a lot of people chime in and really like it.
Still, good use of SciFi to justify the creation of tangential sex scenes.
I actually think this is one area the game could do much better on. So far we've only been to two other universes: Facistland (that sounds like a horrible theme park) and Cronenburg World (also not a place I would choose to visit). Despite what I said in the blub above about side characters, this does feel like missed potential, we have infinite places to explore, yet 90% of the game is just everyday life (which I still enjoy).
Of course, that is beyond the scope of my abilities to add, and I'm not sure I would really want it in this game anyhow (I mean, I wouldn't take it out if Ferdafs added it, but not at the top of my list of things I'd like to see).
It's like more of the Hooker Beth stuff. Yeah, she's Beth, but also not really, there is no connection with her. I enjoyed the threeway, but it would have been hotter (imo) with normal Beth.
FYI to follow up on the skipping bug, I notice that when it does happen, the text indicator at the bottom of the screen turns from green (active) to dark grey (disabled). If I click the mouse, the dark grey turns to light grey (enabled) at which point <Ctrl> or <Tab> work again. And while I still haven't been able to create a reproducable series of steps that work, it definitely happens more often than not during animations for some reason.
I know that Skip is disabled during menu choices, but I'm not sure what might also trigger the code to disable the Skip outside of that. Very annoying that when it does happen, it happens a bunch of times in a row, which makes me think it has some kind of memory leak going on the longer the client has been running. I don't think I've had the problem ever happen unless the game has already been open for a while.
That is super weird. I can't reproduce it here, so no idea how to troubleshoot it. I'm just using the built in skip stuff, pretty much no code interactions at all. The only changes I've made to any skip functionality is the skip_indicator screen (in screens.rpy) adding the current day or scene name while skipping.
I did try using control to see if I could get it to happen (and having task manager open an watching memory usage) and I don't see a memory leak, nor would it stop for me, so... sadly, no clue on this one...
