I'm not sure I've ever said it directly before, but a big reason I didn't ask for permission from Ferdafs to make this game, or reach out to try and "team up", is Pateron. This version of the game very much doesn't meet that sites TOS, which can be unreasonably strict about work authors do, even not on the site. Have a page full of rainbows and puppies on Pateron, but make a NSFW comic with restricted content somewhere else? Account removed.

To me at least, the best possible stance was distance. Sure. the art came from Ferdafs, but he didn't approve it's use, he can't be held responsible for any content in this version of the game. It's a mod, made by a fan, with no creative control or input by the original author.

As a devotee of Beth's butt, deciding to hide from Patreon's fickle gaze gets four thumbs up from me. And though it probably would have been best to ask for permission, he could have also reached out if he knew or cared and at least you handled the game respectfully in the context of him being the creator and was always honest about it.

To be honest, if it wasn't ported to ren'py, I would not have tried it. I hate the mess that is the unity engine. Just about every game I've tried on there ends up being a laggy, unoptimized pile of code that undercuts many game's better points.

We've always been here, this remake attracted the preg fetish fans since the beginning. The amount of dialogue in the remake that hints towards pregnancy for every character has already been in the game for years. I don't know if you've ever done a 'no birth control' playthrough but when when you do both Morty and Morticia turn into "pregnancy weirdos" as you would call it. The reason all the pregnancy fans are speaking out now is because for them the climax is building up and then they are blueballed at the end, for us seeing the belly is the reward.

I personally haven't spoken out yet because I'm patient, if NightMirror doesn't get the motivation to add the epilogue until hypothetically lets say 3 years from now, I'm okay with that. One of my favorite games back in the day used to be Summertime Saga and the last time I played it was the Eve update. The next update was for the main story and I had no interest, I said to myself "I'll wait until the next update for Ronda". Back then every update had a 6 month dev cycle and I was used to that, so I thought I was making myself a 1 year long promise. Then the main story update got separated into 3 parts, after that the infamous Tech Update began. The Eve update was in October of 2019, my promise to myself was supposed to be 1 year long, and to this day I have not played SS since then. Honestly I don't know why I'm keeping this promise to myself, maybe it's for the principle or maybe it's just been so long I just don't give a shit anymore for how long something takes, but I'll wait because it's all I can do.

So whenever NightMirror does want to finish the project with the epilogue, I'll be there waiting patiently. The man has done a great job so far and deserves a break.

Ya imma give you guys the pass. This game is keyed for pregnancy content and it fits, so there's nothing out of line in wanting it and it's true it's been the case from the start.

A game where the MC rapes his twin, mom, sister, crush, blackmailer and pretty much every woman in his life. I guess only the Jessica and Tricia scenes would count as "true" rape, but I'm surprised this isn't heavily featured on more rape game recommendation lists

I forgot optional rape even exists in this game.

It is just so wholesome and fluffy (if you make the right choices).
The hugs with your twin sister are the best, very sweet and heart melting.

In another timeline where ferdafs was consistent with his contents and actually collabed with Night Mirror, we could've had a foursome with this version of Summer, Space Beth and Fem Rick. Mannnn, what could've been.

Anyway, just gonna share some of my thoughts since this game is finished (for now at least until ferdafs drops an update or something) but I love how the last part of the story went full on meta, that shit was wild and entertaining as fuck. I also still find it funny as fuck that in most other harem games where you fuck your mom and sister, it's in a basic premise but in rick and morty you get to fuck yourself as a female from another dimension who you consider as your twin sister and your older sister from an adjacent universe who survived the apocalypse. Heck, you even have a fem ver of your grandpa and the clone of your mother lmao as well as well as having a girlfriend who's melded her mind with a hive mind. Bonkers.

Besides that, I still loved the effort put into this game and will surely miss it even if some of the game ideas will never see the light of day or rather be implemented considering this is jut a sort of remake/port of another game. Still, with what we have, it's better than nothing and way better than a game just being abandoned into the shadowrealm. Thanks Nightmirror and the rest of the contributors for this amazing game.

If ever more content is added, I do hope one day we'd get to see Morty mending his relationship with space beth, see some actual pregnancy content and see the fates of the other side characters.

sorry about repeating what i have said before but: i was kinda in a way hoping that the final scene was morty and his girls with the girls maybe kinda covered in cum i hope you make an epilouge and if you do i hope that you will be making threesomes like Morty, Jessica and Morticia or maybe Maybe with Tricia instead. Why is there no sound?
The original game doesn't have sound, so I would have had to make or source sounds for this game. That is a very major task, like, months of work to go do. And, if I went about including sound I would want the audio to match and be impactful, not just generic background music.

I personally turn off sound in all but a very few VNs, and a lot of people seem to feel the same. So I think my time is better spent on other things.

Update only is a small Download to Update the Previous Version.
But I recommend downloading the complete game, as updating an old Ren'Py game can sometimes lead to errors.
The update can cause problems especially if mods were active in the old version.

The update only is only the assets that have changed since the previous game version. To use it, you need a copy of r4.0 (or earlier with update only patches). It is just a smaller download.
