Hey, love this remake! Played it on pc a few years ago and just installed it on android a few days ago. I'm having an issue though where the android app will crash every 30-40 minutes or so on my Galaxy tablet running android 11. Then I need to reopen the app and wait a minute or two on the title screen for it to load. It's a pretty annoying bug if I'm being honest. Is there any kind of workaround or am I the only one who has had this issue?

Hey man, just wanna say thanks once again for doing what you can, I know it's a harrowing task, but every bit is appreciated! I think you did a great job with the Final Objective scene, came out pretty good for someone working with what they got, so nice one!
If I could make one request, I'd really like it if when you're making the epilogue, you include some, let's call them, slice of life moments. Since everyone is aware of the sexual stuff, just how they're going about with day-to-day life. I got that vibe from that little part you included with Morty and Morticia sitting on the couch and I really liked that.
I feel that's manageable, but if I'm allowed to be REALLY selfish, I'd love it if you could have during the epilogue a proper sexy ending with female Rick, the Beth's, and everyone else in the family, possibly include Brothel Beth & Fascist Beth/Summer into the fray as well, since they all got a decent amount of screen-time, I feel like they all deserve to get a happy ending too. Hell, if you could do a proper ending for Planetina, that would be incredible, since I really felt she got done dirty by the show's writers to just be a one episode love interest for Morty.
Just give it some thought, all I ask. Keep up the good work mate!

Sadly, it's unlikely I can do very much to help. Making the Android version is just a button press for me, and the Renpy engine does the rest, I don't do any specific code work for Android (outside of some UI differences).
Still, it might be possible to make a fix, if I can get the error log from you. You'll need a PC to connect to, then from the PC open up the folder for your phone and go to: /Internal storage/Android/data/com.nightmirror.rmawh/files/
If there is an errors.txt file there, that might hold the answer as to what is happening (or possibly (but unlikely) in the log.txt file). If you can get them, post/attach the files here and I can see if there is something in them that can let me know what the issue is.
Be warned though that Android 11 seems to be problematic for Renpy games in general. I test on Android 12 and 14 without issue, but lots of people have had problems with renpy games on Android 11, so there may be nothing I can change on my end.

I've previously stated that Fascist World (Beth, Summer, and Jessica) won't be part of the Epilogue. Mentioned in it maybe, but they won't appear on screen in it. This is mainly because that story sadly isn't done, and needs an ending, not an epilogue (and giving that side story an ending is way beyond what I have the capacity/drive to do (I barely have the drive to work on the epilogue)).
Planetina is also unlikely to show up (or be mentioned). Her story is "done"~ish, yes, ending badly for Morty. Which again means she'd most likely need another scene (or two) of them somehow working out their issues. Again, not an epilogue (or a major diversion in the epilogue to include her). Again, possibly a mention?
As for Fem Rick, she is indeed part of the epilogue (as she is now living in the house), but still no sexy scene for her. Why? Well, it is primarily an art issue. She just doesn't really have many sex scenes in the game (really only a single scene, and she isn't even naked in it). And, unlike other characters, her body shape is different enough that I can't just slap her head on someone else's body and recolor the skin.
Again, as with the ending, I ask people temper their expectations. I can barely manage "from scratch" artwork, it primarily has to exist in the game already, and be something I can adapt. I (for the most part) make edits, not originals. This limits a lot of what I can make, and I have to design to what I have.

Recently I've gotten into AI nonsense as a hobby and decided it'd be fun to give image generation for this game a shot. I trained a lora using images from the game from rule34.xxx for Beth. I think it does a decent job, but hey, I'm not an artist and am only a marginally better programmer. It's clear the images would need some touchup. If you're interested, I could keep working on this and share the model with you, or anyone else who'd care. Right now it only does Beth, but adding more characters would only be a matter of time and motivation. It's SDXL based, so you do need like 12GB of VRAM, but I could try to train a smaller base model if that'd make a difference.

That looks good man. Considering this project can't get more art because of the main artist just not updating his game, any attempt to try and placate that is appreciated. It'd be a money saver since the only way we could get good art is to commission people who can mimic Ferdafs artsyle well enough to do art for this game. Try other characters and see how well they turn out, as many as you're able to if you can.

While more on model than most loras I've seen, it is still lacking a fairly major component, other people. Having something to make Beth is certainly a good step, but what about having Morty in shot? What about Summer or another Beth?
Most of what I need (for the last art I intend to make) isn't going to generate the way I need it. Which means I'll have to redraw it anyway.
It is for sure looking good, it just isn't where it needs to be for me in this particular project. Thanks for the share!
adding more than one person can mess with the ai maybe doing a shot of them alone then editing them together might work better but seems like alot of work
These are great points. Googling around, I found a Rick and Morty LORA that can do multiple characters, but with an older base-model, so I know putting multiple characters in a single LORA is possible. The model I'm using was fine-tuned on Danbooru and e621 and can do a decent job with multiple characters as long as what you want them to do is describable with Danbooru tags and very simple phrases. I'm attaching an example of Beth and Lara Croft making out. The style isn't as consistent with the game as my first image because the LORA wasn't designed to reproduce Ferdaf's art-style. I also realize that there are subtleties in what to tag to make sure the details get soaked up into the new, unique, tag.
I suppose whether or not I keep working on this depends on how much use you think you'd get out of it. Tagging and training a model for art style and the core characters I can imagine taking a week IRL.

I have not devoted a great deal of time to LLM art generators (maybe around 100~ish hours with stable diffusion), however the end result is that I'm just not that impressed by the results. I've played with a number of R&M loras (from civitai), and got them to generate (both single and) multiple characters, but not without issues, and (where the project is concerned) not close to Ferdafs style.
Several of the tests I've done is trying to "remake" existing art. Chosing an image the game already has and trying to generate something close to it. The end results aren't very~ good (in style, pose, content, consistancy). Or maybe I just don't have the proper terms for it. But that's another thing I have to devote more time and effort to (instead of doing the work I already have).
Even when I do get something "usable" it still isn't there, so I have to "re-draw" it anyhow.
Sadly, I think it is unlikely to be something I can use. Even if you can get it on style, it most likley won't be able to make the sort of images I need for this project (which has a narrow definition by it's very nature). At least for now, I feel that the tech just isn't there yet.

Night Mirror, I gotta say man. You out did yourself so well, and I get that a lot of these games go unfinished, but at least you took the time to give us an decent ending.
I'm heartbroken that there isn't new content, but it was truly fun while it lasted, cuz all good things must come to an end at some point. So once again, thank you because you truly took your time to give us something not most erotic game devs do sometimes, and that is to give a well-deserved ending.

The game has two "endings" and one "game over". They are:
Game Over on Day 37 Scene 9: Morty's Choice and happens if you choose to give up Morticia 2 times in a row.
Ending #1 on Day 40 Scene 3: A Way Home and happens if and choose the option "I want to go home"
Ending #2 on Day 41 after the last scene in the game and happens if you just continue onto the end of the game.

Of all the feedback I get about the ending, this is the one that comes up the most. The short answer is that there just wasn't a way to fit her into the final scene (have her magically show up (again?!)) both story wise and screen space wise (fitting 9 characters on screen, all interacting, was already way too many). Additionally, other than having her be there, there isn't a reason (anything for her to do) to be there (other than players wanting her to be there).
All I can really say is that she will show up in the epilogue (if I ever find the will to make it).
Maybe she just hasn't had a chance to check yet? Beth and Summer only just found out.
