But yes, definitely, absolutely, I do. I mean, not just Pinecest, but yeah it's for sure up there for me.


Every gravity falls reference in the Renpy version of this game was added in by me, and is not in the original Unity version. Heck, I did major rewrites to Mabel- er, Morticia, to make her more Mabel like (possibly too much).

It's interesting that you picked that image to emphasize your point, as (true nerd that I am) in the show, Mabel calls Dipper her little brother, since she was born first (five minutes ahead of Dipper). In this game, she calls Morty big brother because: 1) the MC already has an older sister, so this gives him a "little"(/twin) sister. 2) It makes distinguishing them in dialogue easier. 3) It adds additional fetish material into the game.


Lastly (you most likely thought your post would just get a few "likes", but no, you get a billion word thesis response instead), before I stared work on this Renpy remake project, the one I was working on was this:

As always, my art was horrible (awful, just the fucking worst, even now it hurts me to look at it). It was also my first attempt at using Renpy, so the game structure also wasn't great. It wasn't meant to be very long, just a few scenes (maybe 15 minutes), but I couldn't even manage that. Art really is my enemy...

(And, to preempt anyone asking: no, I have no plan to resume work on it (really, I would have to start over), and no, it's not in a good enough state to be shared as anything beyond screenshots. I do think about it now and then (case in point here it is in this post), and I'd love to do a GF project, but again, sigh... art.).

It's from 2016 so he's style would have improved by now. But yeh, it barely looks like the show.

He doesn't, he has too many other projects. I did ask him (a long time ago) if he had any interest in turning his stuff into a game, but he was very focused on the comic side.

With all of Incog's trouble with his incest stuff getting banned, he might be more open to other ventures in case you ever get the urge to work on a GF project again

One (of the many) issues is the cast size, with Dipper as the MC the options are: Mabel, Wendy, and/or Pacifica (as main girls), and then... Candy? Grenda? Tambry? I cherry picked the least ugly image (with the first one just being a straight up trace of a screen grab from the show and the second being a half trace of a screen grab and other references).



Incog is one of my fav arist out there. While he was doing Brawdy Falls, I was subbed to him. Then Pateron lost their shit and made him pull it down, although it's still up on his site (a search for him in ur engine of choice will find it). I know he's doing another GF comic, but it's less incest focused (still, I'm "enjoying" it).

Again, the best I could really do with Incogs stuff is just trace it. Reproduce what he's already made, but... you know, worse.

Which is sort of the case in this example, where the art I used for the second image is all heavily based off doublepines (who was one of my favorite artists in the Pincest world, but alas seems to have vanished).

Again, while I have no current plans to work on any new projects (certainly not to do any more drawing), I do still have the game files for the GF game, and it is one I think about every now and then (vs dumped into the trash like other projects). But, my art really isn't good enough, and I really do not enjoy drawing. And as any projects I make here are for fun (and free), I'm not going to take on something I hate doing :x

The "no commissions" (and no requests) is from his site. While possible it hasn't been updated recently, he is still pretty active, so I doubt there is a change (or that he would have a lot of interest in doing a huge amount of art for free).

I mean, that is the heart of the issue (with any artist). They have to want to put in an absurd amount of work, and do it for free... and have to put up with me, which really feels like a deal breaker for them...


A "new" game isn't just a few images, it's thousands of them. UI elements, character models, full scenes. To speak nothing of the story that also has to get made, and the systems that need to be created, or music, or sound, or any other elements.

Take the epilogue for this game. I had all the existing character models already and many of the background elements, and I still had to make upwards of 60 additional images for 10~15min of game play. Heck, this game has over 29,000 images! (29,017 to be exact (although, just counting "full art", not expressions, it's closer to ~2,000 images, plus animations)).

No artist is going to take that on for free. No artist is going to keep at it for free. The only reason I'm still updating this project is that I don't have to draw (or write (or work on it daily))). And again, I don't have any interest in turning this into a second job. My current job pays the bills. Projects like this are what I do for fun. And (speaking from experience), taking money for it would ruin it for me.

Lastly, the biggest issue (even more than art) is that, I just don't have the drive to do another project of this scale. I really struggled to stay engaged through the epilogue. A huge amount of my time and energy went into this (and 5+ years of my life). I'm not chomping at the bit to do that a second time.

Even if I did find a magic artist who wanted to work for free, for years, on a project like this one, I'm not sure I would.

In the Mindblowers, when selecting Planetinas tree hugger scene it is not shown. It goes up till the frat party then the mindblower ends.

Ha! So it does! Fixed for the next release (whenever that is)! I also added the "skip ahead" option for the replay.

But, if you can't wait, the corrected file attached (drop it into /game/scripts/story/ and hit overwrite).

Yeah, I know it's not your mistake. Just found it funny. I completed renpy version like a month ago yet found out this randomly.

Anyway, I logic-bugged my own save I think. Not too much of a worry atm (Trish didn't get pregnant despite no birth control).

'sides, I can fix that with do-over.

Alright, it took me a while to get to it, but foot fixed~? Good enough I guess...

I couldn't actually find a matching foot in the files (the only closeish one was the wrong way around, which didn't help). Eventually, I just traced the toes, and moved them around until it looked foot like. Is it good? No. Does it fix the issue? Sure. May still tinker with it (most likely not).

A comment about Day 34: Saturday's Scene "Frat-getting Morty"

It ends really abruptly. It could probably benefit from a bit of black-screened narrative talking about how they come down from their post orgasm high and then leave the party once Summer's shirt is dry, before the scene shifts to the black-screen narrative detailing Planetina and Morty flying to the protest. As it is, it's a bit of a jarring transition.

My play through got put on pause for a while as life stuff got in the way, but so far the game as a whole up to this point has been great!

I meant to give more comments about things I noticed, but the only other one I really remember was the black screens giving narrative mid-sex scene when Summer and Wild Summer are 69ing that seem a bit intrusive, I remember thinking those could have been subtitled in during the scene itself, instead of in a black screen during the scene.

All in all though I'm still loving the effort put into making this game a coherent narrative with an engaging story and actual plot events. Thanks again for the obvious care you put into adapting this game into a quality visual novel, it's very appreciated :)
