And thank you to Night Mirror, who heard my …ambitious… ideas and said there’s a version we can actually turn into reality! Seriously, I pitched it fully expecting a 1-800-HELL-NO, and it wouldn’t have been unreasonable for him to do so! For all the volunteer work I’m taking on, he’s taking on a LOT more to give everyone the ending that’s coming.Thank you Aaronminus for talking NightMirror into shooting for the stars~!
The first pitch of this thing was a combination of a lot of speculation on what I’d ideally like to see from Ferdafs over time (swimming in my head before his disappearance), maybe a personal pipe dream or two, and… other factors, which could be spoilery (can you tell how careful we’re being?)
That said, the version you’re getting has a lot of Night Mirror’s creative contributions (not to mention blood, sweat and tears) as well, I don’t want this to come off as if I’ve taken the reigns and written the ending without him. Both of our fingerprints are all over this (so when this plane hits the tarmac, send him the flowers, and I’ll take any torches and pitchforks
I love this Renpy version so much and I am thankful for any continuation/ending provided to the game if Ferdafs abandoned the game, but to be honest I was underwhelmed by this first part.

Anyway, just felt like sharing some feedback. Unusually negative this time, sorry about that. This game (which I've exclusively played on the Renpy version) remains one of my favorites. Thanks for the work of love Night Mirror! I look forward to the future updates!
Ending any story isn’t easy, let alone a 35 hour visual novel that’s been abandoned prematurely, with a bunch of characters we love in various states of development, lingering plot threads out the wazoo, and limited resources between us… and while we can’t possibly satisfy everyone’s personalized dream ending, my hope is that, when all is said and done, this final AWH tale (which you’re currently only seeing the beginning of) can hold up to the standard set by the rest of Night Mirror’s awesome game.
