It is, but there were limited places it could go based on scene requirements. I did consider changing/removing Morty's line about the bathroom wait and I still might.
or maybe, you could still use Tricia's right foot, and mirror it. idk how tricky that is with the softwaere you're using, i just think that one looks better in that scene, just needs to be flipped (on windoze, i use Irfan View to do that, but there's other software capable), Summer's foot from this image does appear as less 'matching' to me.
You can see the "final" foot, which is Summer's, in the first image (in the previous post example, and the second image in this post), outlined in green. Flipping Tricia's foot is a no-go (the first thing I tried) because of the angel. Here is a quick and dirty simple image flip (without cleanup):
It's not even just that line, the rest of that day's scenes covers a whole day with several long in-game waits between events, and the new scene begins in the afternoon. I'd almost say it should help break up some of the vindicators stuff, as they seem to cover multiple days anyway.
So~ there are several things to consider with new scenes. I'm not the one writing them (and, when possible, I want to keep the general concept close~ish to the original when I can (vs taking the art and making something completely new with it (although this scene VERY much tempted me to make something completely different))), so I have to "fit" new content in with existing content, that wasn't necessarily designed to fit together.
Can't be too hard to make another version of AWH with your preferred edits in the future. You could make a Night Mirror's cut and remove all the vindicator stuff.

Dang, yeah that is a lot to consider. I think you're right that between the citadel side quest and family night is really the only other spot that fits. That would be my vote, as I really like day 38 being entirely about the water park, it's like the beach episode of the game, nothing else should get in the way of that lol and the vindicators day would require a bit more of a rewrite to get it to fit as it starts with mort and morti leaving school. Anywhere would, really. I don't envy the decisions you make for all this, but I definitely appreciate them!
Here is a small patch "moving" Future Problems (very aptly named) from Day 36 to 39. Again, I only changed connection points, but didn't "move files/code" (so, hopefully minimal save impact). No new images, some minor dialogue changes (would most likely get more tweaking if I go with this for the next release). And I have to say... I don't hate it on Day 39, I think it works fine there.
In the conclusion there is a scene with Summer/Beth/Morty/Morticia, where Summer and Beth interact. However there is no Summer/Beth scene that is focused on them specifically.

Oh right, day selector lol the scene fits much nicer here! Definitely prefer this to having it on day 36. You mentioned tweaking it if this spot is finalized, what were you thinking? I'd go for a black screen after "'wanna see how different our lives really were?' 'sure that sounds like fun!'" when the morts are lying in bed that just says something like "You pass some time going over several differences in your lives" before leading into "did you visit Unity's planet in your universe?" Just as a way to show they spend some quality time just chitchatting before having to go off on more separate adventures. I like when they get to hang out for a bit just chilling, and other things lol
