Overall, not a bad first showing. This is the typical version 1.0 with basic plot setup, and main game structure with a few scenes, but limited content (two/three~ish "hot" scenes). Worth a look if you just need more Morty (and Summer (and Beth)) porn in your life.
It also has... *sigh* room exploration with plot finding mechanics (and a two-step button quest log). While not the worst implementation by any means, not a game mechanic I'm particularly fond of. Enjoyable the first time, tedious afterwards.
There are a fair number of dialog issues. Lots of "!," throughout as well as various other typos, missing capitalization, absent punctuation, and some funky sentences.
The artwork is very similar to the show (even for the hot scenes) with only a few minor issues (such as the HJ scene in the shower has a lot of empty art space at the top, pushing the action into the same region as the textbox. Centering the image/action would make it easier to see. A personal nitpick is characters keeping their mouth open even when not talking, but again, minor and more of a personal preference than an issue.
And lastly (I see this project is going up on Patreon, so that's the reason), it feels weird for Morty to call Beth by her name.
Hopefully you keep it up, ormuz89, and have a good consistent update schedule. It is one I'll keep an eye on...

this is great, i love the concept ill keep an eye on this one. The art is not that great
i like that in a parody of a series with infinite universes and the dev actually used a universe where everyone is pervy, rather then a normal universe.
also the possibility of episodic content, rather then one long ongoing story (that my get cancelled or drags on and gets boring).
one last thing, i think the backgrounds could use some work, having the backgrounds similar to the show is fine but maybe tweak them, like make the posters in summers room more xrated.

Right, well, I made this mostly for myself, but also figured, why not share if anyone else wanted it?
Here are a bunch of dialog fixes, and a few rewrites, but mostly: typo correction, missing punctuation, changing stammers from "Ye...Yeah" to "Y-yeah", removing lots of "...", reducing repeats for "sounds" (example: "Ohhh geeezz..." changed to "Oh geez..."), grammatical corrections, annnnnd adding Incest.
It's my first time messing around with Translator++ and it was pretty fun to use. The patch will only work for version 1.0, and I'll have to make a new one for any future versions (if I keep at it (and the dev keeps at it and puts out more versions)).
To use it, just download the attached file, unzip into the top level of your game directory (it shouldn't overwrite anything) and play as normal.

Awesome, thanks for saving another game lol. I've never heard of Translator++, I usually use Notepad++, GREP, and WinMerge to do stuff like this. How was your experience?

You can find Translator++ over in tools if you're interested in checking it out. I was looking for the least disruptive way to make the changes, and another modder suggested to use Renpy's translation system. Then down the rabbit hole I went to where we are now. I found the tool very easy to use (and way more power than I need for this), it seems pretty neat, although I did the most basic stuff in it.
The output isn't what I thought it would give me. I wanted pure translation files, but instead it injected the changes into copies of the originals. Not sure how it will handle updates, but I guess I'll find out when the time comes.

Yeah, Im aware of the mouth situation hahah I will try to fix it, Also im trying to improve my animation skills... i just need to be less lazy about it, I will make a test with the dialog box on the center, thanks for you feedback!

Hey man, thanks for your feedback, first of all thank you for what you do with "another way back home".
the room exploration: my idea is to make the game a little more immersive, but yes can become tedious, thats why i try to keep a not so long gameplay.
the dialogue: I know is an issue but with my level of english (is not my native language) is the best i can do, i see you make a patch fixing this: THANK YOU VERY MUCH!, really... I appreciate you taking the time to correct this.
quests log: im thinking in a way to make it in one click, maybe im leave the mobile just for photos and other stuff and put the quest in an icon outside the mobile
and you're right with the HJ animation, I'll see how to remake it

I will honor the word, I promise. hahaI am going to give you points for the name but I am also going to expect you to follow that up with some hefty content in later versions because, trust me as someone who uses F95, the "pervy" is pretty strong around here and we will know "pervetiest" when we see it.
