Hello everyone!
Since my patreon was nuked I will do my work reports here, here I will try to answer the questions that have appeared and update the progress I have on the next chapter.
PROGRESS OF THE NEXT UPDATE:
As I previously mentioned the next update will be "Season 2, Chapter 3: Love, Sex +Robots", at the moment I have already written the plot of the chapter and finished making the models of the new characters that will appear, the next thing on my list will be to define the new backgrounds and make them. I hope it does not extend as much as chapter 2 (I do not want it to take me too long to do it and I certainly do not want to divide it into parts) and it is still too early to define a date.

I didn't know what joiplay was and I've been asked about it before, I'll see if I can get it to work there and if I can I guess it will be a new feature for the next update

I understand that for many people playing 'in silence' can be uncomfortable or boring and the short answer to why there is no sound is TIME, yes I have thought about it and I have considered that background music in certain scenes helps the immersion of the narrative but at the same time I want this music to make sense with the scene and not just put some ordinary free use track and this would add time when coding the scenes and well sometimes I simply don't have it, just to add; I will not add character voices precisely for the same reason. But background music may be possible when season 2 ends (when season 1 ended I made an update to improve things that I didn't like the result of, I will do the same when season 2 ends, I can focus in more technical issues in that update, I'm not saying it will happen just that it may be possible.)
To the best of my knowledge, no, it doesn't work on android, I didn't make the patch and my ignorance on how this works on android doesn't allow me to tell you if there would be a way to make it work there.
I'll try to make these reports weekly, if anyone has any questions, comments or similar leave them here and I'll try to answer them every time I make one of these.

Yes it does. But placing it into correct folder may be a pain in the ass on latest Android. File managers have trouble accessing android/data folder. I recommend using ZArchiver, it works like file manager too and have no trouble accessing said folders.

I've finished making the backgrounds (they were more than I thought I'd need) and now I've started making the animations, this is what always takes me the longest to do; the plan is to have at least 9 new animations for this chapter, I don't know how long it will take me since I decided to add a new technique to the animation (let's say in 'bounce mechanics') and I'm liking the result but it takes longer to do, but oh well... I consider that I'm working at a good pace and so far everything is going well.

Well, it's not available because it doesn't exist yet, I'm currently working on season 2 and the next update will be chapter 3, and season 1 and the ongoing season 2 is available for android on the main page of this thread.
Thanks for the info! It's good to know that there is a way to use the patch on Android.

Pretty sure its the Game folder found in the install directory for pretty much every RENPY engine game out there.
When i click on the ic patch, a new tap opens with some code in it.
I am not handy enough with a pc to know what to do with it.
Do i have to type this in the game somehow, and if yes, how?
Is there a File i can just copy and paste into the game folder?

.rpy files are text, so most browsers default opens them as text if you just click on it (instead of downloading them). Right click, and save as. Then move the downloaded file into the /game/ folder in the directory where the exe file for the game is.
Anybody knows how to unlock the last scene of season 1 chapter 10? After fucking Beth at midnight

PROGRESS OF THE NEXT UPDATE:
I've had a few busy weeks at work and this has delayed me a bit with the animation process but I'm almost done with them. I only have 2 more events left to animate; I decided to call the animations 'events' from now on, each 'event' could be from just one animation or it could be two or more (different angles, etc), this is because I always find it difficult to count how many new animations there are, in the sense that they really count as new content, for example: In the bathroom event of the last chapter we could say that there are 10 new animations (2 angles of Summer and her shower, 2 angles of Nancy, 2 angles of Beth blowjob, 2 angles of Summer doggy, 2 angles of Beth doggy) but some players might count this event as only 3 new animations (animation of Nancy, Summer and Beth) and believe that I am putting misleading information about the new content, equally it seems ridiculous to me to put as new content the REAL number of animations, for example in that same bathroom event there are actually 40 animations since generally each angle It has between 3 to 4 different speeds but I consider it misleading to count each speed as a new animation... So I think the fairest thing to do is to call them 'Events' and each event will have its certain number of 'animations'. That said (and to update what was previously said about the number of animations in this update) the number of 'Events' that this new chapter will have is 7.

The last scene of Season 1, Chapter 10 happens after the credits (it's an epilogue), if you play on PC it happens by itself at the end of the chapter, on Android there is an error because when separating the season in two parts I forgot to put the jump to the credits correctly, an error that I will correct in the new update. (sorry!)
I don't know the exact date yet, but I'll do my best to finish the next chapter this month. I'll also continue updating information on the matter.
Unfortunately this is no longer the case as my patreon was nuked and as I specified in previous posts this will make the pace of updates a little slower, for now each update will come out here first.

I said it once, and I will say it again.
I really enjoy this game! It’s very different from the other one, a way back home because while this one also tries to keep the spirit of the show, the focus is far more on the sex which I enjoy.
To be completely honest, I said for years that the creators of the show were fully aware of the way back home game and kept doing stuff to reference it/take shots against it. Such as how for a while it made Morty in Summer’s relationship is really negative, and they were hostile to each other for basically no reason. Probably because the game easily made her the best girl in it, by plenty of fans responses to her.
And that the game seemed to have a better idea what they wanted to do with her and kept her character, more consistent than the show did. Being 100% honest the game kind of feels like the show if it actually had a bit more focus.
And that’s probably why the creators kept taking shots at it. Or trying to mess with it. I don’t think I need to tell anyone about the incest episode again with jerry, or How it randomly through in selfcest with space Beth and Beth, seemingly just to do it first.
This one on the other hand? I don’t think theyd that. Mainly because. Where as that one sticks very close. To the show? This one more keeps to the spirit of the show and the earlier seasons, but firmly is porn first, story second. Which is a nice change of pace honestly. I look forward to seeing it develop even more!

PROGRESS OF THE NEXT UPDATE:
Well, I finally finished the animations for all the events for this new chapter (as I mentioned before this new update will have at least 7 new events) and I also finished drawing the 'phone photos' that will appear in this chapter (there are 9 in total), I usually used to upload these illustrations in full resolution to the patreon but since it doesn't exist anymore I'm not sure where to upload the full resolution versions, maybe I'll make a .rar and upload it here but I don't know if it will be considered off-topic and deleted, anyway... at the moment I'm putting together the scenes (arranging the character models in size and place, etc.) and writing all the dialogues (this includes a bit of coding), I'll do the actual coding after this and that will finish the creation of this new update!
It was impossible for me to finish it in October but now I can assure you that it won't be longer than November to finish and upload the new chapter here.

On the other topic, it is obvious that they make varied (and many) references to the sexual nature of the characters and QUITE a bit focused on the incest aspect; the 'intergenerational sandwich' joke from season one, obviously the relationship between Beth and Space Beth (and there's an implication that Rick has done the same thing), that weird 'soul bond orgy' in the dragons episode, the indirect way Morty and Summer have a child in the chuds episode, another 'self-cest' analogy is made in the 'tales from the citadel' episode when they enter 'the creepy Morty' and a Morty offers Rick a dance and you can see a Morty having a lap-dance with another Morty, but oh well... There are countless examples but I don't think that creators and animators go against this kind of games, I honestly think it's the opposite and it's more like 'a fuel of ideas' to see the approach that one can give them because I suppose they find it fun and well that's the main reason why I make this game, I find it fun.
"A way back home" has a special place in me since it was one of the first games that introduced me to this kind of genre (parody, more comedy sexual visual novel) and obviously there is no way my game would exist if I hadn't discovered Ferdafs' work, (I've said this before but it's never bad to repeat it: I greatly respect ferdafs' work and also NightMirror's effort in their remake for Ren'py)
And well, I'm glad you enjoy this game, I hope you can keep trying it and writing what you think about it (good or bad, every approach serves to improve the game)
YES: I also recently realized that I haven't done much Rick/Summer material. I have an episode planned this season where one of the story lines will be related between them.
The subscribestar profile is already made, what is not is APPROVED, subscribestar has a strange way of being "monetizable" and your profile must be approved by its moderators (according to its rules you must have an established audience since they seek that you can maintain a constant flow of money) but it is strange because investigating about it (to try to speed up my process) I have found testimonials where they have approved them quickly with a small audience.... so I am still trying to figure that out (although a few days ago I sent an email to their support and let's see what happens)
