If you change the name in the patch it just throws an error that says the replacement name is not defined.
You shouldn't change variable names. Only regex matching patterns.

Example:
text = re.sub(r'\bBeth\b', 'Mom', text)

Change "Beth" to whatever you want.

Thanks for this. I am not too familiar with Python. This has now thrown me down a rabbit hole and I have been fucking with things to see what works and what doesn't. I can't get Space Beth to work. Is there a way to see how the names are defined or is there a certain character I have to use to fill the space between Space and Beth? I tried a space obviously, underscore, dash etc and they all said it was not defined. Thanks again.

Try \s to match space. And you can google regex syntax to get what you want.
