Hey I compiled all the Rinhee animations into...well a handful of videos, I dont feel like counting em rn. They're organized by release year and in release order. They're pretty much all the raw versions with no subtitles aside from like 2 or 3 ones from this year so if you wanted subtitles my b. If someone wants to get me all the eng sub animations feel free and I'll make a new one with all eng subs cause I'm a freak like that :alien:

I have a question regarding these compressed videos. Sorry if its a redundant question, cuz i wasnt sure where else I could've asked. Does compressing it mean it has lesser resolution and quality?

less quality, yes. Anytime you compress anything you are losing quality. The question is how discernible is it? There are many ways to compress, including reducing the resolution and/or quality. I keep the resolution the same with my compression. Most people do.

I'm also using the AV1 codec. Rinhee, and most video files on the net, are H264. H265 and AV1 are better at compressing files while losing minimal quality. a 300MB AV1 file will always be of higher quality than a 300MB H264 file, if everything else is equal.

What you should do is download my file, and the original, and compare. Pause the videos at a certain point. And then compare side by side. better yet, I'll do it:

attached is a screengrab of the exact same frame in both files. Do you notice any quality differences? Zoom in if you have to.

As a video codec nerd I'm slightly disagree with you here.
Higher compression ratio is often achieved by "hiding the compression artifacts". (or maybe it can be considered as losing less quality if you want? I don't know.)
In your screenshots the details are visibly different, well in this case they are "blocks" because Rinhee use bad H.264 encoder / encoding settings, but in a higher quality source that's gonna be real detail.

For example, H.265 claims to have 50% bitrate reduction over H.264 "at same quality level", while in reality, many of us found that if you want to keep that detail, it's gonna be considerably less than 50%, maybe even half of that.
AV1 doesn't seem to have an official bitrate reduction claim, but most potential claims follow same rule.

I have a cursory overview of this sort of stuff, so I'll take your word on it. I wouldn't call myself super knowledgable about this kinda stuff :LUL:

Could someone kindly share a SMI/SRT file for Elegg? I have one for every video going back to Gaia but I don't see one posted for this one. Thanks in advance!

I dont think she will be the next girl
-he is trying to not do the same game 2 times in a row
-she got revealed too late, If he does her he should have 10-12 days at most to do her animation
In the Future maybe
