All that said, I'm glad I discovered the game at a time when the remaster was in progress so that I can experience that version without doing a replay.

Good luck with the development JesturI dont think anybody here cares about your opinion at least not enough to be offended. The guy was pointing out you were being a dick for no reason and rightly so. If you have legitimate counterarguments against the people complaining then you can make your points politely - it is a discussion forum after all and I think the forums would be a lot better without all the insults. I think people are also more likely to listen if you are reasonable.

Downloaded 0.4.1 a couple days ago, finished it today, came to praise the game as one of the best indie VNs I've read in this site and this ep1 remaster is like a gift.

Perhaps if you read the last 4 or 5 pages of complaints and whining and toxcity you'd understand his point and realises his comment was justified.
There has been a distinct lack of polite discussion and not too few insults thrown at the dev by freeloaders who are upset the product they are pirating (because yes it is pirated, which is sad they couldn't wait the extra few days for to be publicly and freely available) doesn't give them what they wanted.
The dev has told us for months what to expect and why the changes where needed and instead of being happy and grateful to have an awesome game to play, most people have thrown accusations of milking, or being out of ideas how to progress.
If anything Krystal2 's comment was more polite than most deserved.
I'm about to download the remake. I don't want to sound like an ungrateful fagot, but... does this update come with or without new "non-remake" content? I mean because I must be one of the few idiots who cares about history in porn games (and in particular I wanted know what the hell is going to happen to the aunt), but if I have to wait until the game is all remaked so that only then will the story continue... and seeing how long we have to wait between updates... well... you understand me .

Not really surprising to me, it's probably a lot of people who don't pay attention to the game when there's no update. Even if you like a game there's no guarantee that you sit and eagerly read through forum posts etc when there's nothing happening.

Ok so I'm a little confused on whether or not we need to replay this. here the dev said people can wait for the next update to play which I'm assuming means we don't, but when code is changed it usually breaks saves and a restart is required which is posted on the OP for this version. Just looking for some clarification on if we'll need to restart for future updates or not.
I get why the dev remastered chapter 1 and am just curious if this is planned for the other chapters as well? Sorry if it's been discussed before...

You'll need to replay the game from the start but you can wait with doing that to when the next update hits if you don't feel like ep1 remaster is enough for you.
