Question: Why does the walkthrough recommend closing Shelby's path? Does it conflict with others?
Also, the first option cuts off the screen. does accepting her apology make her dom and the middle option make her sub?
The following are just theories, but we know Ripples will never be a complete harem VN, so from there I assume:
Shelby is in conflict with or has been in conflict with three other ladies (Skylar, Darci, and Krystal). And even if Shelby were to mend her ways, I think the other three would be particularly thrilled if Jack started something with her.
So I'm hoping that between the options of ignoring her and hooking up with her, there will be a middle ground: Do nothing with her, but help her become a better person (after all, even Dani is pretty fed up with her). Another person I could imagine being a point of conflict would be Cindy, if she is still alive in the present.
Here's another thesis on April, Scarlett's sister: we don't know where she is in the present, but consider this:
In previous updates, Alyssa asked some questions about the power plant incident and Jackie rebuked her that much of it is just theories and most importantly: That people in the class have lost relatives too.
So if April had also perished in the accident, Jackie wouldn't have had to mention the last comment specifically because Alyssa would be aware of it. This is also supported by the fact that she works with the masked man, who is probably a good one, so why should he risk the life of an ally?
That leaves only the following possibilities:
1. she went into hiding because of her actions in 1999. She may have faked her death before or after the accident.
2. she simply had a falling out with Scarlett and moved away.
3. she actually died sometime after the accident. Either from an accident, an "accident", an illness, or something else.
4. she is currently hanging out in another time.
