Well I was playing it from the view of a harem game and trying to get every girl, so that was why it didn't seem like the MC sleeping with all of them as a bad thing or him not caring about them. Whether or not it sounds like "everything is NTR whine" to you is irrelevant. If some players see it as that or are just upset about a love interest having a child with someone else and voice their opinion about it then why can't it be discussed by others who share the same view?

Yeah it is complicated, and yeah we don't have the whole story yet as it is time travel with many twists and turns and anything can happen, but it doesn't change the fact that at this point with what we have and the possiblity of a written love interest having a child with someone else can still rubs some players the wrong way. All I am saying is at least let it be discussed without automatically shutting it down.
Fair enough, but don't think Ripples is supposed to be a Harem game, and with Patreon involved it seems even impossible to MC to be the father of all the girls so of course other male character will be on the picture but we will probably will never see none of them.

Well if it turns out to not have a harem ending I would be disappointed, as for patreon they just mess up everything these days. Maybe a patch could change that possibly.

As far as a patch, for the current version this appears to be your only option. Screenshot 2025-07-05 123901.png
It's completely fan-made though, so if there was originally a particular i-plan, it's probably lost to time now ... :sneaky:

I meant in the future concerning the 2019 girls being the MC's daughters. That is if whoever made the patch would be able to accomplish that.

I would pity the 1999 girls for getting knocked up and abandoned. Especially Scarlett who had to raise twins on her own. Not to mention how hard it must be for children to grow up without a father... I wouldn't want to be that guy.

I understood the assignment. Right now, that mod is the only place that storyline can exist. Whether they go there or not is up to the modder. If someone else takes up a non-integrated iPatch, that would be a second place it could exist.

And, as I emphasized, even if that was Jestur's plan in the beginning, no one associated with him seems to be developing one, so it's unlikely a final "patched" version would be exactly the original idea.

Right now, other than rich-snob-girl, Skylar's the only one who seems to have a dad in their life, and you and Jessica are the only other ones that a father figure has been mentioned (as far as I remember), all of which leads to the theory in the first place.

Good point, it's not the best indeed especially how young they are. Though they could find another partner later on, for a step-father figure. But there is more and more children growing up without father (or seeing them one weekend every other week), you could say it's the bane of our modern society.

And I don't think the MC would have knocked them up on purpose, just unprotected sex.

However the "actual" fathers don't seem better, as as people mentioned one is in prison and the others are missing. Sure it could be explained for porn logic, but like everything really.

I do sometimes wonder how Jestur is going to "solve" 1999 LIs when the story ends, like they have points so I imagine some of them will have their own ending.
Perhaps in their solo ending, you remain in 1999 and create a new reality? Or perhaps we simply end with their adult version in the present? But if it is this last option, it will be funny if you end up with Scarlett and her daughters building a redhead harem :KEK:

Don't forget, this town had a major "industrial" accident in the biggest employer, the power plant. Many died, and many probably had to move away for work. It's a more extreme town. Nobody but Jessica seems too messed up by it. Skylar isn't even that messed up by her dad being in jail. Everyone seems mostly well adjusted, outside of Darci, who is super cool as she is.

wouldn't the fix for that be easy? i.e the protagonist getting with old era characters result in different offspring than the ones in the 2020 ones (as for what that means for the 2020 girls, i don't know)

Hmm, not sure I understand, like using Scarlett as an example, she wouldn't have twins with the mc but a single boy or something? If this is what you mean, it's like parallel time dimensions or something o_O
Anyway far from a easy fix I think

First thing:

Did I miss triggering some wallpapers somewhere along the way, or have they just not been revealed yet? Unrenned the files and nothing jumped out at me, but it just seems odd that, this far along, we have two slots open. Most VNs I've seen have stuff like that at the beginning of a release, but it fills in by the end.

Second thing:

There was a theory floated that Jenny somehow got sent back 20 years (to 1989), when she would have been around 30, and has relived 30 years to 2019, and is now about 60. After getting stuck back, she took on the new identity of Jackie. Which would probably put her daughter (Gabby) in her late 30s now (assuming she got sent back, too) and her granddaughter, Darci, is 18.

Gabby is pretty messed up, one from the kidnapping and, possibly, from living out of time. Don't know if that holds any water at all, but is a way the times would somehow fit. Though, I don't know if we've been told where Jenny's daughter is in the 2019 timeline already - that would let the air out of at least part of that theory. It would also mean Jenny/Jackie was existing in the same time and space as 1999 Jenny until her disappearance in 2009.
Yeah - time travel speculation fucks up everything.
We've been told Jenny's daughter disappeared shortly after the accident. It's in the beginning exposition of the power plant accident I believe back in episode 1.

Also, if that DOESN'T nuke the 2019 LIs, that's basically inviting the "NO NTR" infantry to completely invade the forum ...

While I agree I also want to note that they decided to have unprotected sex with an acquaintance. I'm pretty sure they knew the potential consequences and even birth control isn't 100% effective. Making beds and all that
