So...what do you consider "corruption?" Is it about becoming less compassionate, less considerate of others, or just having more sexual interest?
For me, corruption relates to the former items, someone losing their connection to others, becoming self-centered to the detriment of others in their lives.
Becoming more sexual isn't corruption, in my mind, it's awakening to new potential, new experiences.

Don't get me wrong, I don't want to sound rude (written stuff on the internet can be perceived different), but I don't care about uninhibited males, the more girls and less penises, the better. For some reason I love harem games I guess.
You got me wrong. I just gave an example about the corruption genre here in the forums. To give an idea, I like games where innocent girls get corrupted into vixens or even interspecies pregnancy (don't judge me pls, I know to differ reality from fantasy), as long it is well written. I hate when the girls "fall" into the slutty theme for no apparent reason. Writting is what makes me engaged into the game. In our reality you can compare it to a religious girl that falls to pornography acting for example. That's what I meant about corruption.
I just gave that example, because while I like that corruption genre (again, when it is well written), at the same time Alyssa is already an well written character. That's why I said that, while I like that, it wouldn't fit her and she's already a great character. And I'm usually a guy who doesn't like those kind of characters, because unfortunely most devs don't achieve a good balance of shyness and character development. Many games who dive into that have boring and repetitive characters, with stale and corny scenes, which end up making the characters not being memorable.
So yeah, in a sense corruption is what you mentioned, losing their conection to others and ending up experiencing new stuff. Again, I reinforce that I understood when the previous comment meant afterwards, but just explained what I saw about ending up being slutty and "change". I want to differ with you though, that getting corrupted doesn't mean being less compassionate all the time. It really depends on how it is written as I mentioned above.

edit: I'm blind and I just saw the username image now lmao. But yeah, on those games for example some characters are more memorable than others, because unfortunely somewhat repeat on their "theme" a bit. I'm not against, just not my thing. I like the conection of the MC with the heroines, but at the same time I want something different. Btw, I like the MC on My New Memories more when comparing to My New Family for this exact reason, I see way more development of his character and care with the writing. But experience in writing and developing games gives that I guess. Also, while I understand the MC loves other characters, sometimes reality and situations should force the MC to get angry or scared. That can also show care from the MC to those characters, and it isn't always a bad thing. It is also more natural. We're humans after all.

I think that there is a big difference between women who act in a slutty fashion (society label) and women who are sluts.
I like Krystal - she acts in a slutty fashion to get attention But she is not a high body count girl.
She is a low body count girl and may even choose to be exclusive with the MC even if he is not exclusive with her (the MC is her only guy, but she may also enjoy certain women on the side, like sharing with Daphne or Darci). I also think she is genuinely looking for an emotional connection but may be uncertain how to achieve that because her physical gifts (she's a big-titted Knockout) mean that most guys her age see her as a piece of meat to bang versus as a young woman to get to know and appreciate.
I think that there are a number of LIs who are interested in getting to know the MC better, running the spectrum from Alyssa (Very shy) to Krystal (dresses and acts in a slutty fashion) and that is a lot closer to RL than the all slutty high school we see in some AVNs.
I see a slut as a woman who is a high body count, multiple men at the same time, woman (whether that includes threesomes or not, or just 3 or more guys in the same week over and over again or both - is irrelevant).
This kind of woman is not seeking any emotional connection; I think the high body count even precludes this connection.
(I also think that high body count men are man whores; as a man, I might admire their skill with bedding many women - provided the women are single and they do this with charm and the truth versus drugs and lies - But, if a sister or niece asked if I thought she should pursue a relationship with that guy, I would tell her absolutely not and why).
I don't see any of the LI's in Ripples as sluts.

Well this is just me, but I think mother and sisters should always have priority.
True but the MC needs to hone his skills so that when Family time happens, he rocks their worlds. They, Tiffany and Jessica, have to have time to see him as a man. The slow build up of these feelings for Tiffany has been great. With Jessica, we only have the picture Skylar sent that Jessica finally realizes was not of a random man but of the MC and we have her curiosity when they fell asleep together watching anime. We need more Jessica time for her to realize that she has adult feeling for the MC and that she wants to do something about them, even if - for now - it is making herself more available to the MC to see how he responds to her.
Will Skylar help Jessica accept her feelings for the MC the way Valerie helps Tiffany accept her feelings for the MC?

Indeed. Yet we must point that your average VN imagines size is gigantic. Even too much. We you get it back with something proportionate to the screen resolution, you don't lose much as percieved quality of the images.

Only the first chapter was remastered to be at the same quality level of the other chapters, you can play it without a worry the rest is ok.
