I'm intentionally attempting to fuck with the timeline. I need to know if we're dealing with a singular reality that can be rewritten by my fuckery (but resists), or if there's a multiversal thing going on where I might be able to make significant changes.

e.g. Is the MC Skylar's father because he banged Luna senseless? What about Scarlet's daughter(s)? Do you wind up taking one or more of your current friends through the portal back in time as well, so that you end up meeting an older version of them that helps you out for some reason.

Much fuckery to be had, both with time and with the women.

I'm not interested enough in "land-people" to check, but I do sometimes wonder how this will/would play out in the unpatched version.

My first playthrough was focused on exploring the world and trying to find out what happened to my Dad and Aunt Jenny - trying to save them if possible. I'm certainly enjoying banging the beauties around me while on this journey.

Now that I have a Ton of $, I'm considering making an anonymous donation to the local HS and college with the caveat that everyone in the schools take a '23 and me' test with ancestry results going to my new high-end computer so I can see just how many offspring I have ...

I'm all about the timeline fuckery. Given the chance to go back and change something (in a fictional universe where the worst possible consequences can be undone by reloading a save – of which I have many – and playing again) I'm doing it.

The only choice I've had to make for the girls is which ones I want. So far I haven't met one I'd reject (not even Riley). Yes, I had to make a Skylar/Jessica choice, but I am confident that what I chose will lead to both.

On the resurfacing daddy theories: No one but me has done the date/age calculations? If you care, my reasoning is somewhere in this thread. Short version: highly improbable to impossible, depending on which girl, and for how long the story continues (in game time) and when in the timeline he goes back again.

Future story content may change this (extending the timeline, changing the rules of time travel), but as it currently stands the theory is untenable. Mental gymnastics may convince some of Skylar, but it requires unlikely circumstances that are a little too contrived for me to think Jestur would go that way.

That could be covered by the patch, but it's also a valid reason. The canon story is of course, without a doubt, that no one in this story is related. Nope.

It's probable they're taking a chance and have not yet been noticed. Or, depends how exactly they're flirting with it. There may be a way to all but say the I word (and related ones) but make it clear through subtle (or not so subtle) hints and this gets around the rule.
