By itself, it was a great update. I'm a big fan of this title and the dev.

It had the usual high quality renders, hot girls and the sex scenes were all amazing, the problem is this was essentially a filler episode and even then it wouldn't be that much of a problem if this wasn't a 1 update a year kind of VN.

I enjoyed the content but considering everything wouldn't it have been best to not have the party or have it be a short version (even though it wouldn't be as good) and move on with the story in present time?

This update should have focused more on the now former mother and sister (rip incest - fuck patreon) it's version 0.8 and still only bread crumbs for those much beloved main LIs, actually this has made me worried it will have a rushed ending or the dev will still be cooking this in 10+ years.

There Is no AI only VI, and it's NOT a good thing.
You actually got better care in the average hospital , and had better chance of recovering, in '99 than you do now. At least in the 3 places I know, US, UK and Sweden. For almost ALL malaises.
Internet is great. But I had 100MBps fiber in '99-02 (I moved and it was not available until '02 where i moved)... Now I can get 500Mbps where I live now, and all file sizes are more than 20 times bigger. So a downgrade in speed, adjusted for usage. And average bandwidth in connection has NOT kept up with filesizes etc.

Average LIVING standards have dropped, and you now need 2 people's salary to pay for what one person could afford in '99. Again, US, UK and Sweden as base for assumptions.

So no, NOT fake nostalgia. 1995-2010 was really the golden age, if the comparison stops today.

Absolutely. As a man that graduated HS in '84, I can totally confirm this. (I was out of reactions, and felt strongly enough not to leave this go by without agreement).

One of my favorites is a certain cosy harem game. I love it. I can't afford to stay subbed to the patreon, but I always 'buy' every update to show my support where I can. They largely did the same thing this latest update to one degree or another. Focused on a character no one particularly cares about, stealing time from the main plot and the girls they've been establishing since day one. And because she's isolated from the others, there's not even any interaction.

On the one hand, I wouldn't mind if it was a completed game. Content is content. But with releases on a lot of these big AVNs now taking 1+ years I can't help but look at deviations and side girls as a drag, knowing that every frame the author has dedicated to them is a frame I lose with the characters I actually care about.

As someone who had never used the skip button in this particular game I found myself skipping through the drawn out scenes with the newish girl, frustrated.

I still love the game, and will anticipate every release, but I'm starting to feel these long release cycles a lot more than I used to.

Totally agree. I have said it before that too many LIs is a bad thing. At first it's fun, but if the AVN continues, then you run into issues where some updates do not have your favorites. Harems are bad enough for me, but 3-4 girls would be fine. You could move the story forward as well as get some quality time with each LI. Chloe is one of my favorites and I don't remember the last time she had a scene with the MC.

So what? I have to wait another year for maybe another scene with her? IDK... it's gotten a bit unwieldy.

In some games I really only like some or even one of the LIs. This is one of the games where I like some more than others, but they almost all evoke attraction at the least from me. Most of them I really grow to care about. It's a special game that way.

I'm all in for continuity and maybe multiverse alignment .But this is too good or maybe some story in future. idk i just started yesterday. Loving it so far. Also the second image is basically 3 frames in 3 seconds so you might miss it

I disagree, if you feel overwhelmed by choices in a harem game, you're likely not looking for a harem game but a route focused game. The main issue is a lot of games are unfocused in that they push for both as in wanting to be both a harem game and a single route focused game depending on choices.

A harem game is only uninteresting to me if most of the heroines are uninteresting which is not the case for Ripples: there's probably only 2 or 3 characters that I do not care about in this game so for me getting content with most heroines is a plus .

A universal gallery unlock should work but you can also wait for the multi mod to be available in 36 hours for free (or less, not sure when it was posted on patreon) because the modder LightmanP puts it behind a paywall for 36 hours and then will appear here for free (check the OP link), and that multimod has a gallery unlock feature.

Well, unfortunately the incest patch hasn't been updated since 0.6. Now it is part of the multi-mod which is done but has a 36 hr hold on it. So the incest patch now has a hold on it as well as a result.

Not interested in the argument going on over in the multi-mod thread over the 36 hr hold, but I do wish the incest patch was separate regardless.

Most of these are easter eggs, I don't think we'll ever have an AVN Cinematic Universe lol

That being said NiiChan is making basically his own mini shared universe with all his games lol, 2 of which he's developing concurrently (Sicae and My Bully Is My Lover) and one in the future
I heavily doubt devs like Jestur and Caribdis would collaborate in a project like that though, way too much logistics, continuity management, and potential creative vision clash, not to mention how much work and time it would take to develop.


Would be fucking sick though one can dream.

To be clear, I love this game and I like almost all of the LIs. It's true, I am normally not a harem fan but some AVNs, like this one, make it interesting. I was responding to another post who was saying that it sucks when the AVN story has gotten so developed and spread out, each update only has time to cover a few of the LIs and with 8-12 mos of developing time, it sucks to have to wait that long. So when you have a lot of LIs and a long development time, a large number of LIs is problematic. I am not knocking it, I am just saying, with a lot of LIs, at some point, you are going to have to wait for the LI to fall back into the rotation and in this case, it might be a couple years before we get back to some of my favorites.

The I-Patch is dead, has been for a while. The Multi-Mod has two versions, one "vanilla" and one with it's own I-Patch. The vanilla one is done, the Perv one is still being worked on. LP posts them on his Patreon for his backers for 36 hours before posting here.
