also harem implies that generally all the women in it know about the rest and are cool with it... here MC is just a fuckboi, and while some women know he fucks others, he mostly just gets his dick wet where he can. He is not building a harem.
Doesn't change the fact that the game tracks points literally called "harem" and when asked directly his answer included "Yes". Just because it's not tagged here doesn't mean it won't be in the game. I'm guessing what he means by harem-like is that not all the women will be available for it. Which would make sense, I can't see Shelby for example being happily in a harem along with Darci and Skylar.
...or especially vice-versa. Darci wants to rip her lips off. Reconciliations happen, though. I am trying to get Shelby to fix herself and get over her trauma. Sad that Darci hates her friend, when she's actually really sweet. Guilt by association.

As I mentioned earlier in here, Dani developing as a character to be more independent is one of my favorite aspects of the game, as well as her unique combination of hyper-intelligent/complete idiot/absolute hornball. Dani is actually pretty sweet I agree, it's a shame she's so close with Shelby. I think we might be able to get Darci to come around on Dani. Shelby would be a lot tougher to change Darcis mind about, not impossible, but damn difficult.

Which is especially tragic because she had a discussion with MC a few updates ago regarding Dani, and she said she would give her a chance, if I remember correctly. But well, Darci was pretty drunk at the time and a bad first impression is hard to overcome.
If every "choice" was a non-canon event, the final story would be missing a lot. I'm sure Jestur has a "canon" version of the story in his outlines, so one of the choices must be canon. And I'd be surprised if NOT getting involved was the canon choice in this story.
Yeah, in many games the canon things are the ones you don't get to choose, they just happen. There's so many choices in this game, though. I would never leave my friend in that kind of situation (though you don't get too much of their friendship at this point).
Travelling back and forth in time is canon, romancing a girl is not as that's a choice
