I really like how Jestur keeps developing his artistic approach. All those angle switches, camera zoom-outs etc. I especially liked the foreshadowing in the Scarlett/Valerie scene, the one right after Valerie takes the MC to the bedroom. I haven’t seen anything like that in other AVNs.

Bro also really stepped up his BGM game. I used to consider the BGM in Ripples — especially during the sex scenes — the weakest part of the AVN. But now? It's just *chef’s kiss*.
Well its a bunch of ai-gen music, nothing to be impressed by.

Dev should add pregnancy so mc can fuck all the women in 1999 get them all pregnant then all his friends in 2019 are actually his daughters that would be fun

2019, but yeah. That was fun. It's not canon, though, right? We didn't have to get involved. I did, and I would go to the mats for Alice any day.

The modeling shoot was absolutely fantastic, the whole scene, in all variations. I look forward to where that goes.
Why does it matter at all whether the choice is canon or not? DougsLeftNut said that intervening with Alices boyfriend will probably give an in for rapid progress with her when we get back. And it might, it does give her a few points and creates a variable to track whether you talked the guy down or knocked him out. It also tracks if you just walked away from that encounter, which Alice might not be too thrilled with next time we meet her.

It's like any of the other dozens of choices in this game, either do it if you're interested in Alice or want to show off for Skylar, or don't.

Does anyone here ever seriously look at a choice that pops up in this game and think "Hmm which choice is the canon route?". I know I sure as hell don't, I pick the choice that makes sense to me, and will get me more points with the women I like. Which is ALL OF THEM in this game :ROFLMAO:

Damn, D. That's a dark take. How about helping Alice because she's one of your best friends, and her shitty boyfriend is an abusive cunt?

Yep, which is why the choice to intervene made sense to me and I chose to knock that fucker out. The points with the girls were just a bonus in that case.

I could see why some others might choose not to intervene though, especially with how Alice treats the MC not long before that enounter. She's a bit of a bitch to him. She hasn't really acted like one of his best friends except the first time we met her in the library.

Edit: Something about the best friends statement felt a bit off to me and it's been a while since I played through from the start so I skipped through real quick to check the Alice scenes. You only meet her twice before that encounter on the date with Skylar. Once at the library in the beginning and they walk home together, where they're friendly with each other but clearly not friends, classmates and acquaintances at best.

Then again when going to spend time with Alyssa you run into her at their house. She seems upset and MC offers to lend an ear if she needs someone to talk to. She tells him to mind his own business and walks away. So definitely not friends.

MC doesn't encounter her again until the date where she's arguing with her boyfriend.

You're not choosing whether to intervene to protect one of your best friends from her shitty boyfriend. You're choosing whether to get in the middle of a lovers spat between a classmate you barely know and her boyfriend, when she's already told you to mind your own business.

It's a lot less black and white than just helping a best friend out.

Quick question: any walkthrough of episode 8? I'm having hard time on finding the easter eggs.

Travelling back and forth in time is canon, romancing a girl is not as that's a choice
Unless I misread what Maccabee said, I was just talking about the choice to intervene with the abusive "boyfriend" or not. Considering that this game seems to have multiple relationship paths now and in the future (pun intended) I do think it's a bit early to properly speculate on which one(s) make the canon story.

Just a quick note: Please dev Jestur....

Make a good pair of eyes for our MC.
It's Honey Select. You shouldn't hold your breath on the MC ever looking noticeably better. Not many options in that for the guy models.
Also, I don't think we're supposed to properly see his eyes. The most recent update has shown more of his face than I can remember seeing before ...

Yeah I was actually surprised by that, I played the whole 7.0 version and never saw the upper part of his face and thought it would stay like that like in Harem Hotel but with this update I felt like Jestur just gave up because it got too complicated or something lol

Doesn't change the fact that the game tracks points literally called "harem" and when asked directly his answer included "Yes". Just because it's not tagged here doesn't mean it won't be in the game. I'm guessing what he means by harem-like is that not all the women will be available for it. Which would make sense, I can't see Shelby for example being happily in a harem along with Darci and Skylar.
Shelby... that girl is in serious need of a dom.

Abusers don't change until they get the beat down. Nothing shows them what a cunt they are like feeling exactly how the people they abused felt.

I got weirdly emotional when the MC was showing Jenny the pictures of her friends and their daughters from the future. Especially the part when she starts tearing up when she sees her sister in the future. That was a really well done scene. I cant believe that I didn't think about it before, but now I'm betting that the reason that Jenny went missing is because she's going to be sent to the future.

Assuming that that was the last time that the MC saw Luna, that would definitely explain her reaction to seeing the MC. I'm also glad that we got pretty solid confirmation that Skylar is not the MC's daughter. Does anyone know what girls you have the option to cum inside

is the pc version is playable on mac – or can it be? – without running software like parallels.

i've read conflicting info.

some say to simply download renpy launcher – which idk what that is, and it seems like it may be deprecated – (because renpy games are now automatically cross-compatible?)

others say you can use the pc version to patch a mac version. ie take the game folder from 0.8-pc and drop into 0.7-mac.

i assume the latter would depend on the game, but it would be interesting to know nonetheless.

See, I always thought Jenny and Jackie (Darci's Grandmother) were the same person. There's so many clues pointing to that in the dialogue. Darci's panties that she got that were supposed to be her Grandmother's but they came in the right size being the same pattern of panties that Jenny wears in 1999, The fact that they have the same color eyes, the fact that the original time rift sent the person back exactly 20 years into the past so since Jenny and her daughter disappeared (went through the rift) in 2009 they would have appeared in 1989 making Jackie the exact age Jenny would be if that happened, etc.
