You are also aware that Ripples is made with Honey Select 1 while Eternum with Honey Select 2 right? That also makes a bit difference but Jestur does a lot of polishing on the renders and animations, that is why there is not that much difference in quality. Most probably even think Ripples is made with HS2 so good it is visually. If you want to compare, compare with Pale Carnations that is also very good visually and made with HS1 too.

I started playing recently. Do the graphics improve over time? At the beginning of the game they're not as good as Eternum.

I'll agree with some of the others that a comparison with Eternum is a little odd, they're not even the same HS version, but I did a replay with the new chapter out and the difference between chapter 1 (very minimal assets, standard backgrounds, empty "comic book" feel) and the more recent ones is pretty impressive. In particular the latest chapter has a much busier sort of feel to it visually, although the fact that practically the entire chapter happens on one (very large) set no doubt makes that simpler.

FWIW, Eternum has a very similar progression, as do more or less all of these games where the creator spends literal years on them and learns as they go. Getting more used to creating something visually satisfying also leads a lot to the development creep, I suspect -- halfassing 4 characters into a premade hallway asset doesn't look as good as a lot of characters in custom outfits posing in a set you designed for the scene, but I bet it's faster. If the devs would let themselves make new material with the same quality as their first chapters I bet they could turn out new updates much faster, but they wouldn't look as good.

The UI was new with this update. Can't remember for sure, but I think it may have been pretty "traditional" before (and I don't have the old version to look at anymore). Took a minute to get used to, but is a good one. Some Devs customize them in ways that make them more difficult, and what they think is "cool" makes me think they know nothing about effective design.

Close to zero. Tiffany is "totally not the mom" in the unpatched version, but Scarlett is her daughters' mother. Creating a whole new scene for the incest patch strains the plausible deniability of Jestur not having anything to do with the patch too much.

It was a trend that already existed among women that got a lot of tats, like Vanessa in this game. Those celebrities in the late 10's didn't invent it, they just popularized it.

Finally finished playing the update and I had a lot of fun, huge props to Jestur for letting us fuck the chubby girl, if there's something I love about Ripples is the huge variety on body types, I wish more games weren't afraid of letting us fuck more petite woman like Darci.

The whole party was pretty enjoyable and the thruth or dare section was my favorite, super fun.

If I had to complain about something, it would be the fact that the whole scene at the end with Luna felt a bit forced, I feel like it made no sense for the interview lady to drag Luna into everything and tell her about all we've done, maybe she did it out of jealousy I guess? but still, I thought that whatever had Luna react the way she did when she saw the MC in the present would be very different that what ended up being the reason why.

I'd say I don't want the MC to go back to the present, because honestly, all the girls in the past are way more fun, but hey, at least Scarlett has high chances of getting fucked silly every update considering MC will be fucking her in the present and in the past regularly at this point .

I don't think that would comply with Patreon at all actually, even them being in the same scene already would be too much for them from what I've gathered. Chances are I'm wrong of course, but I've come to expect them to take the most stupid stance they could whenever possible.
