Except that that didn't happen, at least not yet. Prevailing opinion here seems to be that we're done with 1999, and certainly the way they parted seems final for that time. So while I won't rule out it yet happening, and I hope we aren't done with 1999 for Jenny's sake, it doesn't look like it's going that way.

Meanwhile, that did happen with Scarlett at least once, and maybe twice, depending on the choices you make at the party. She also knows, or at least very strongly suspects, that the guy interested in her daughter is the same one she got it on with 20 years ago--and she's apparently cool with it.

Of course, if MC had sex with Luna in 1999, he could very well be Skylar's father, and that would very well explain her reaction on seeing him in 2019; that wouldn't be the case with Scarlett/Alyssa/Alice. But, again, that hasn't happened, and it doesn't look like it's going to.

Who said anything about telling her? It's already established that Luna has perfect recall of faces, and thus we can conclude that when she meets MC in 2019, she knows perfectly well who it is (though he doesn't yet)

shuica mentioned "their conversation [i.e., MC and Luna's] when meeting face to face." My question was and is, if that conversation's going to happen, why hasn't it already? Or at least questions about it? Like Dani did with MC?

And, again, the obvious answer is that it would confuse the hell out of the player, who's experiencing things on MC's timeline. But Luna doesn't know that the MC she meets in 2019 hasn't yet met her in 1999. No, she (probably) isn't going to tell Skylar what's going on. But completely avoiding MC, and then engaging with him (and if she has a "route," which she does, she's going to do a lot more than just talk with him), seems a bit off.

Luna hasn't talked to the MC for a few reasons I'd guess. First, and the big one, is she's scared to because of what happened at the end of that party. She was warned by Cindy who she knows to be rich and influential to stay away from him, never to talk with him again, or they'd ruin her. That the MC himself was painted in a pretty bad light during that encounter probably didn't help him any in that either. Plus Luna said multiple times she gets a bad vibe from him, and she usually trusts those. Then you got the fact that he hasn't aged a day since she saw him last, 20 years past. That alone would freak most people out.

Combine all those things together and it makes perfect sense why Luna hasn't approached the MC to talk with him.

It has nothing to do with confusing the player, Jestur has shown multiple times they're perfectly fine leaving us confused about events since weird unexplained things have happened multiple times now. Shit ninja and Lunas reaction to seeing the MC for the first time in '19 being the biggest ones off the top of my head. Neither were explained for multiple updates after. Hell, shit ninja still isn't really, other than us guessing it's probably other Darci that we met in '99 saving her Mom. Oh and Skylars missing time and unexplained tats is another big one that's left without any real explanation so far.

My guess is that it's going to be up to the MC to approach Luna in '19 and when he does she's not going to be happy about it at first. I'd be very surprised if Luna makes the first move and approaches him.

We don't know this but:

I think that Cindy's goons stalked her or perhaps even questioned her after the MC got away (goes back to 2019, disappearing from the 1999 timeline again).

She was one of the best leads they had, and they could have threatened her with harm if she did not let them know the next time she saw or communicated with the MC.

That look she gave him (both 1999 and 2019) made me think that the first time she saw MC again was at Tiffany's house 20 years later.

I like Luna and I am hoping that she and the MC get to talk and come to an understanding that the MC is not one of the bad guys.

I would like some Luna romance in 2019 but that may be asking for too much given the relationship MC already has with her daughter Skylar.

Luna has "a route." Yes, I'm relying on a mod to tell me that, but I think I can be confident that the author of the mod isn't just pulling stuff out of his ass--the choice of whether to fool around with Luna by the lake at the party is indicated by the mod to enable (or disable) her route. And if that's the case, either Jestur is fucking with us, or there's going to be some more action with Luna. Maybe in 1999, maybe in 2019, maybe at some other time we haven't yet seen (though I don't think that's very likely), and maybe not in the next update (if I had to guess, I'd say probably not), but it's going to happen.

I don't think she'd react as she did on meeting MC in 2019 if she'd seen him again in between, so I'm ruling that out. If he comes back to 1999 and they get together, that raises the "MC is Skylar's father" possibility, and IMO completely explains that reaction--but then we have to do something about Cindy and her thugs. So as much as I'd like to see MC back in 1999 (more for Jenny than for Luna, but both would be good), I'm afraid that probably isn't going to happen.

So, operating on the assumption that the next time she sees MC is (just under) 20 years later, at Tiffany's house: with or without what you speculate may have happened to her in the interim (and regardless of whether they actually stalked her, she would have thought they were, because Cindy said they would be), yeah, it fills in what may be enough to explain her reaction at that time:

• She knows this is the guy she saw 20 years ago, and he hasn't aged a day - but Scarlett knows (or at least very strongly suspects) this too, and it doesn't seem to bother her
• She knows she was intimate with this guy who's now involved with her daughter - again, true of Scarlett as well. MC has had sex with (1999) Scarlett but not Luna, but still has been intimate with both--though more romantic, I think, with Luna.
  • There's no possibility in either case of MC being the father of the daughter in question if he doesn't return to 1999 or any other time in between
• What I think changes with this update (yeah, the intimacy happened, but that was expected) is that 2019 Luna thinks MC is dead. She was dragged away from him by Cindy's thugs, she knows Cindy to be rich/powerful/influential, Cindy was very menacing during their encounter, and neither she nor anyone she knows has seen MC for 20 years. Under those circumstances, "Cindy had MC killed" would be a pretty reasonable conclusion.

I'm not going to re-play their first meeting right now (maybe later), but doesn't MC think she looks like she's seen a ghost at that time? If she thought MC were dead, that certainly would explain her shock at the time. It might not explain her telling Skylar to stay away, but if she believed any part of what Cindy had said about him, that probably does it.

There's no way in hell Jestur blocking Luna as LI just because of Skylar, by that logic then Tiffany also got blocked because of Jessica, considering all the romantic situation at 1999 with her it doesnt make sense to just stop there, in fact imo of all the milfs both Luna and Tiffany certainly at the top of the main LI even above Scarlet.

The MC could have a relationship with each woman separately (again - I am All for this), but with Patreon's periodic changes to what is 'okay' - my doubts stem from avoiding another Patreon crusade versus Jestur's original intent with related women.

As an example, we need an iPatch for the Tiffany/Jessica relationships, but the early story was already written/rendered/setup as though Tiffany was Mom and Jessica was Sister to the MC.

Patreon's crusades can limit content ... By this - I mean 3sums including women related to each other...

Some 3sums I would like to see: MC +

Tifffany/Jessica
Scarlett/Alyssa
Scarlett/Alice
Scarlett/Alyssa/Alice (a 4sum)
Luna/Skylar
Tiffany/Jenny 1999 (a reach for a number of reasons)

I've really enjoyed the different 3sums we've gotten so far, especially the latest Scarlett/Valerie 3sum.

The block I could see is that Patreon's threats would prohibit these women from playing with each other the way Scarlett and Valerie did in the MC 3sum at the party.

The paths I think we will get:

* Luna solo Path
* Skylar solo Path

The path I don't think we will get:

Shared Luna/Skylar path (where Luna and Skylar enjoy each other and the MC at the same time during some of their lovemaking).

I am looking forward to the Luna path but IMO - it will be less than it could be if these kinds of 3sums are avoided due to Patreon threats.

Ripples continues to be a top 5 AVN for me and I don't see that changing but, like many AVNs I enjoy, I do wonder how much will be sacrificed to protect it from the threat of a Patreon ban.

I'd consider it certain we'll never see any of those, without even considering the question of whether they were part of the original plan. Recent discussion in the Eternum thread suggests that them being in the same room would be too much (e.g., Luna in the room while MC and Skylar get it on), much more both being active with MC, much more yet them actually playing with each other.

Whether or not we will get to see Luna/Skylar (or name your preferred M/D) share the MC and each other or not, we will have to wait for Jestur to share more/much more of the Ripples story to find out.

Nope, none of the girls from the present are MC's daughters. The way this is going we are still far away from any pregnancies, probably something for the epilogue only and even then it's not gonna be with anyone from 1999.

We have no reason to believe, or even suspect, this for the 1999 LIs. For the 2019 LIs, as yet, it isn't possible--MC hasn't had sex with anyone at an appropriate time to have fathered any of the 2019 LIs. Skylar is the right age, but Cindy cock-blocked him and seems to have scared Luna off; Tiffany's already pregnant with Jessica; everyone else in 2019 is too young for MC to have fathered them in 1999. Of course, story developments yet to happen could change that, but it isn't possible with what we've seen so far.

I had been convinced that Skylar was MC's daughter, because I was sure he would get it on with 1999 Luna--and things were definitely heading that way when Cindy did her thing. It's possible that MC could come back to (or "stay in;" he hasn't left yet) 1999 and they get back together, but that isn't the vibe I'm getting. And "MC is actually Skylar's father" would pretty well explain her reaction on seeing him again in 2019, but how that comes to be the case given the circumstances of their parting is unclear at best. I'm now leaning toward "Luna thinks MC is dead" as that explanation, aside from the obvious shock of seeing him look identical to when she saw him 20 years ago, without his having aged a day (and actually a little younger, though not perceptibly so).

And Patreon rules being what they apparently are, at best, it'd be vague. For example, if MC and Luna had sex before Cindy came in, that makes it possible that MC is Skylar's father. If nothing further is said on the question, it'd be up to the player to decide whether that's the case or not. But it would never be said.

As to pregnancies at all, we have the option to finish inside in most of the sex scenes, and in many of those, doing so sets a variable for the game. Whether that will result in future pregnancies (or past pregnancies, in the case of the 1999 LIs) is anybody's guess, but I'd guess it's likely. But probably, as Meiri says, as an epilogue.
