Honestly there's a bigger question of why they event went through with this plan, given that The Dark Lord and The Demon Queen seem to be gearing up for a fight regardless. It doesn't look like they needed much push, though perhaps what Satomi told The Demon Queen before getting traded to us was very relevant to pushing her to be more explicitly hostile towards The Dark Lord, even if in words more than actions so far.

A few days late, but time to review V0.3.3 and V0.3.4.

V0.3.3
- You know, given how important Uxousin turns out to be so important to mounting the invasion against the elves, it is probably a bit of a wasted opportunity to make the NPCs here (the corrupted official, guard captain and now mayor's assistant) a sub-heroine of sorts. Alas, the fate of being side characters.

- It's kinda funny how the previous Dark Lord Hokkma seemingly does try anything and everything to harass his enemies. Spreading self-multiplying slimes all over the world just so people will be busy to deal with them for all time? Truly troll behavior. I approve.

- I have been building Maiko to retain her empathy for her fans, but I wonder if I should make another save precisely to make her be contemptuous of the people, hah. And I must say it is amusing to see Maiko has no more than maybe one second to realize she has been tag teamed by the Dark Lord himself and his slave for the past few days/week.

- It is a bit disappointing that I can no longer make Maiko do things before sending her to the stage, but eh. Corruption is a flame, and in the end it will burn until the only things left are ashes and embers.

- I appreciate that Ayaki is sharp enough to realize that the Dark Lord's side is also trying to buy time. Unfortunate for her, she realizes it a bit too late, and she is a single brain cell while Sayuri is too focused on not trying to reveal her cards. Too bad for them.

- It's comical how sharp Reina is compared to Hikari. The Elf Queen sure is a lot smarter than the human one. It would have been interesting to have a proper war with this ruler, but it is unfortunate the Supreme Goddess Mika's plan necessitates Reina to fall due to betrayal from within. Hazuki is practically already corrupted long before the Dark Lord even lays eyes on her.

- Not gonna lie, I can't help chuckling when Satomi's level 2 corruption choices have "stop acting so smug." It's such a blatant option that I can't help but pick it. And it helps that Satomi's reactions to the corruption working to a degree is to overreact, which makes her feel like a tryhard.

- Kinda interesting that the slaves start to get under Satomi's skin starting at level 2. Kinda expected this to happen in level 3, to be honest. But I guess even against an archangel, progress will be observable with each level.

- More rebel quests, good. As I said before, ruling over an entire continent and multiple settlements shouldn't be smooth, especially when you take them by force. And building a spy network is one of the ways to deal with frictions before they become sparks.

Seeing Rina in her human form manipulate people into joining her network is funny. This is exactly how agents of absolute dictatorship should enlist the people: make them believe they are doing things for their own benefit, ahaha.

And of course, more rebels mean more EXP. And Rina torturing one of them for interrogation is absolutely a delight; we really could use more of this in the main quests.

V0.3.4
- I should have expected that we will kill the Uxousin mayor ourselves, hah. Can't help but be disappointed that it is a straightforward battle compared to the limited multiple option game last time we were at this church. Would have appreciated something like "Kill the Guards in 1 turn" kind of challenge and if we fail doing it, we will have to pursue the mayor in a minigame, or something of that sort.

- Can't believe Sayuri was so simple to ambush, ahaha. After all that precaution from Bogthos, I expected a boss fight. Still, a glimpse of her power as one of Hokkma's descendants is intriguing, at least. And the potential mechanic to corrupt Sayuri promises to be interesting; I hope it will live up to expectations.

- I love that Maiko the idol's complete corruption is literally the opening shot for the elven invasion. Previous battles will go down the history books, but this one has a specific random idol's name attached to it. How entertaining.

- Maiko's corrupted form is a nice mix of a succubus and a clown or a jester. Would have expected something like a fallen idol like in some hentai out there, but I do appreciate her tired eyes. She is blissful and way past her exhaustion, but the makeup she has under her eyes resembles exhausted eyebags, and it will be there for all eternity: it is truly ironic.

- The subtle clown theme makes her perfect as an emcee, ahaha. The way she introduces herself and her compatriots and the Dark Lord on that stage is funny. We absolutely gotta bring her around to emcee future celebrations.

- Miyu finally decides to make herself useful to the elves, eh? And I appreciate that Reina has absolutely zero intent to deride Miyu for lacking any combat or magical expertise, the queen immediately just thinks up how to use Miyu best, and that is as a morale support.

Unfortunately that will successfully delay the Dark Lord's victory, but this is well within my expectations. Besides, it won't be fun if they fall too easily, anyway.

Miyu telling Hazuki how horrible it actually is to be a slave to the Dark Lord only for Hazuki to reply with her equivalent of "Don't threaten me with a good time" is possibly the funniest moment in this update.

- Hazuki's corruption being affected by either Misaki or Ayumi's dispositions are a nice touch. I choose to go with Ayumi's cause I think it just fits more considering their friendship and the fact Hazuki is crazy addicted as is, making her able to focus on other things would help her and the Dark Lord.

- Hazuki's talk and reflections are amusing, but I think her prison game is the most interesting one to date. Gauging Hazuki's preferences in what form of debauchery she is most receptive to is interesting, it adds more depths to these shallow puppets of corruption.

- Decided to do Yukako's side quest first before going to the Demon Queen Mephi's continent. And I find this quite to my liking; I chose to make the Dark Lord's religion to be practiced in relative moderation, did that make the people more willing to take advantage of it? Would this quest change if I had chosen to make the worship of the Dark Lord be enforced more seriously?

Either way, we get to execute two people: one monster and one human. How nice, heh. And Yukako is finally the Dark Lord's high priestess, getting to fuck at the altar of their own church must be a dream come true for her.

I do have to ask though: did you consider making Erina an option to be a high priestess of this church as well? Being a former Divine who specifically deals with love and relationships, she is also qualified to be one.

- Gotta say, the many fortresses in the Demon Queen's continent impresses me a bit. Mephi knows how to intimidate and wage psychological warfare. She is no less dangerous than the Supreme Goddess Mika in the mind department.

Can't believe Mephi calls the Dark Lord to her castle and her throne room only to demand the corrupted slaves or declare war. This is definitely her final "mini game" she wants to play before the proper war with us. I appreciate the audacity to belittle the Dark Lord this far: she is truly a worthy Queen, and thus, a target of corruption.

The strategies to be prepared... I think multiple choices will become even more prominent going onwards. I can feel it.

All things considered, the past three updates are build ups. Notably, the number of quests begin to increase, reflecting the increased effort necessary to manage Dark Lord's growing territory and influence. I wouldn't say the past three updates are "exciting," but it's definitely entertaining.

Now with all that said, time to give suggestions. As usual, consider these free ideas you can pick up and use, or throw to the wind.
- Considering how the majority of monsters are unnatural creations and that Hokkma has spent literal millennia trying to create new ones, I think it is only fitting if the new Dark Lord can come up with something new.

Given how long the previous Dark Lord tried to create something new and he only managed to do so with good materials (Divine blessed woman, in the case of the Succubus Queen), we can conclude even the new Dark Lord wouldn't be able to create something new without it as well. And opportunity to get those doesn't come often, so shouldn't we try and create our own?

One thing which comes to mind is inspired by a couple of manga stories. The Dark Lord can seemingly corrupt corpses, right? To create skeletal beings like Bogthos and Terindus. Would it be possible to corrupt graveyards -- especially mass graves, which no doubt would exist in the continent, given its long history of war plus hazards from adventuring -- to create monsters which effectively serve as "beacons" of corruption?

These beacons consecrated in corruption is likely going to be effective on anybody from humans to elves to demons to angels to gods alike, especially if the mass graves are filled with the corpses and blood of beings from all sides from the past wars. Human nature, elven nature, demonic nature, divine nature, all bound together by corruption.

Besides being a potential monster spawning ground, beacons of corruption like this can be potentially used as teleportation networks, if the Dark Lord ever has to recreate teleportation in a way which doesn't allow the other factions to use it. We might also create our own Berserk-inspired corrupted sword (bathed in the essence of so many supernatural beings, now the blade can harm anything).

Yes, I will never stop suggesting ideas which makes the Dark Lord create weapons.

It might seem weird that Hokkma didn't manage to create one of these in the past if he was able to, but there are reasons to justify why he didn't manage to: the Blessed Heroes, which keep being sent to target the Dark Lord over time. In short, the previous Dark Lord was never given the luxury of time to corrupt something on this scale. The current one, though, might have that time once the elven kingdom falls.

- This is more of a flavour suggestion, but does Hokkma ever tried to experiment with biological warfare? Using corrupted agent to infiltrate settlements, then spread a disease tinged with corruption, zombie outbreak style?

Unlike the above idea, I don't intend this to be much more than just "one of the previous Dark Lord's methods of using corruption which didn't see much use due to failure". After all, suggestions can be about anything, can they?
That's it for the review. As I said, the previous ones were build up, and these two updates are pretty packed to match that. Truly nice to play through.

And now, time for my usual free suggestions:
- With Maiko's transformation, I just realized the current slaves actually reflect the Major Arcana of Tarot cards quite well.

Maiko is the Fool (0): She might already be a successful entertainer, enjoys freedom to go wherever she likes, and is beloved anywhere. But she doesn't have any personal goal she aspires to achieve, she is used by people left and right for her talents, and she is lonely, as if she never finds anyone who could fulfil her emptiness. In short, she is the opposite of what the Fool Arcana is supposed to stand for, or Reversed Fool.

Yukako is the High Priestess (II): And not just because she is a priestess for the Divines. Of the slaves, she is the most traditionally feminine; empathetic, patient, understanding, while at the same time devoted, supportive, and unbending; all traditionally associated with the Priestess Arcana. As a human she continues to support Romanos no matter how much he personally disappoints her standards, and now as a corrupted slave she doesn't lose those traits; it is all simply twisted so all those traits exist to serve the Dark Lord.

Erina is the Lovers (VI): Again, not simply because she is a goddess of love. The Lovers is associated with bonds and connections, but more than that the Lovers is also about choices and dilemmas one must face in those connections. Fittingly, Erina struggles between the people of Hypatia who pray to her or the Supreme Goddess who she pledges loyalty under: the choice whether to stand still and watch the people she loves or to defy her superior she is loyal to is Erina's defining trait prior to her defeat. And likewise, her corruption is about redefining Erina's beliefs of connections and love; along with relinquishing her ability to make a choice: fitting for Reversed Lovers.

Rina is Justice (VIII): Not only is she explicitly a knight who goes out there to slay evil for the people, she fell to corruption precisely because the Dark Lord manipulates her through her sense of justice, through her desire to save as many people as possible. Out of the original Romanos's party, she is also easily the most objective-oriented and rational, and as a dark knight who hunts monsters, she is most analytic. All these traits are of the Justice Arcana; and like Yukako, she doesn't really lose these traits, it is just redirected.

Misaki is the Devil (XV): Despite what less knowledgeable people might say, Devil Arcana (like all Arcanas) has positive, negative and neutral meanings depending on what aspect you highlight. And the Devil's positive ones include commitment, be it to a bond, an ideal, or a value. Misaki was quite literally blessed to be the Hero's Heroine, and as a human she is committed to Romanos no matter how terrible Romanos's actual person is. As a slave, Misaki is impulsive, and fitting among all the slaves she is the one who is most enslaved to her own desires, which is the more commonly known aspect of the Devil. Likewise, as a Succubus Queen she is above all others are the best in temptation and manipulation, also a common motif for the Arcana.

Hikari is the Tower (XVI): This card is often seen as the worst one among the 22 Major Arcana cause its positive aspects are rarely relevant in human life, and fittingly enough Hikari fits all the negative connotations of the Tower: passivity, or willingness to dwell in one's own flaws and gilded cage, which manifests as arrogance and prejudice. Hikari's willingness to dismiss anything Ayumi can do and desire to belittle others to make herself feel greater is a common motif for this Arcana, and fittingly enough Tower Arcana when used for fortune reading (the traditional usage for Tarot) also means a fall from grace, which among all the slaves she does indeed "fall" the hardest (her only competition is Erina).

Ayumi is the Sun (XIX): A symbol of joy, happiness, optimism. Ayumi is easily the brightest among all the slaves both before and after her corruption. More than that though, the Sun Arcana also symbolizes the desire to accomplish something, which Ayumi has been hounded by for all her life due to her shitty parents and her need of approval. As if her personality isn't enough, Ayumi's color scheme is also flaming orange whether before or after corruption. And on top of all that, in fortune reading the Sun Arcana is also associated with a person struggling with their initial meanings of happiness, which again, Ayumi struggles with as a human.

Even the ones currently not yet fully corrupted clearly stand for distinct Arcanas: Yuma is the Magician, for example. But I am not saying all this just to share how much of a Tarot nerd I am.

I think it will be a good idea for the Dark Lord to create Tarot cards based on his slaves. Let the Dark Lord, Misaki and/or Erina "bless" these cards to be spread to the populace. Magical Tarot cards can have many usages, not the least of which is integrating the Dark Lord and his symbols into the culture, potential self-defense tools to endear the people, etc.

There might not be enough corrupted slaves to occupy all 22 cards, but there are certainly enough characters there to fit all 22. Even putting aside the Dark Lord and his subordinates like Bogthos and Terindus, this can also be Dark Lord's way of honoring human allies who willingly pledge themselves with the Dark Lord and help us conquer the continent. That noble in Hypatia capital Sotervius for example is a textbook example for the Emperor, while our first priest Caecilius is one for the Hierophant.

If Tarot cards exist in this world, it is probably going to be exclusive to humans and elves, and it would have images of heroes and Divines. The Dark Lord wanting to erase those influences is a perfectly legit move to make, as cultural erasure is a slow process which must be done as early as possible in a religious conquest.

- Hey, since Mephi has the audacity to insult the Dark Lord with her final deal, when the war is finally on the horizon, would you consider having the Dark Lord corrupt 5 common women and send them to the Demon Queen's continent? Even better if they also share the same fucking names as the ones Demon Queen requested. It should be normal in this world to have the same names as famous heroes (like Misaki) or Divines (Erina) cause parents want their children to be blessed. We will fulfil our terms by technicality! Let's see how Mephi likes being on the receiving end of a troll.

And, that's all I have to say for now. I think you can tell that I quite enjoyed this update. I will faithfully wait for the next one.

Yukako's quest wouldn't have changed too much depending on how you shaped the religion. Just a few lines of dialogue in a few sections. I had considered making Erina a candidate to become the high priestess, but after thinking more about a few story and development factors for that position, Yukako seemed like the only character that would really fit that position.

There aren't tarot cards, or tarot equivalent in the game's world, but the comparisons you made to the cards are interesting.

The idea of sending common women to The Demon Queen probably won't work out for a few different story reasons I have planned, but it does sound like something either the MC or one of the harem members would think of when trying to think of a way to buy more time, or simply screw with The Demon Queen to try to throw her off/mislead her from whatever it is she wants from them, similar to giving The Demon Queen a corrupted Romanos. I might have one of the characters mention this idea at some point, though.

Did find some quest bugs for ayumi's favor (hikari fully corrupted), church corruption (recently completed) and maiko's corruption as already conquered elven capital.

Attached Picture, For Some Reason Save Files Are Locked By RPG, cant share them through attached files. Does work in game.

Same here, some quests won't complete even if they are "completed" in the game world.

Maikos Corruption
Ayumis Favor
Establishing Trade

All of these are completed in game.

Does anyone know how to proceed from this part?
Can't seem to find anything to move the story forward.

Hi, can someone tell me what to do when Bogthos tells me I need to talk to him to advance the deal with the demon queen?

I talked to him in all three locations (Human Capital, our capital, and the War Room), but it didn't work.

Here's my save file if needed.

Thanks in advance.

Currently stuck at the quest "The Crown". I have interacted with both of the gods multiple times, yet I am unable to proceed with the quest. Help would be appreciated. Screenshot 2025-07-31 012451.png

If you haven't been told to head to the village to the west, you need to talk to Bogthos and Yukako in the Meeting Room first I think? That should trigger the actual scene with them and these two.

Thank you, I wasn't aware I needed to go to that village.

never mind i did a ton of sl and it worked but now i'm at the point when the rebuild is underway, queen is fully corrupted, but stuck at erina and dont see a way to progress 'the trade' questline
Sorry for the wait.
You need to progress the religious questline. I looked at your save on a fresh download of V0.3.4, and the next quest needed should automatically start if you exit the meeting room in hypatia, and then enter the room again. If this doesn't work, then re-download the latest update, extract it, and move the save folder from your older version to the same location in the fresh download's folder, and try again.

The save isn't bugged, at least not on a fresh download of V0.3.4. There's an npc at derugial's docks that approaches you once you arrive from vlester, and gives you a new quest. It looks like you ran past this npc before it could give you the quest. Speak to that npc, and follow that quest. It should help you progress.

The quest journal sometimes has problems like this. What is mentioned in the quest journal isn't always a reflection of what is seen in-game. This happens when your game either skips the command to mark the quest as completed in the journal even though they are treated as being completed in the game, or there is a typo in the command to mark the quest as completed. I fixed some reported typo errors for the next version, but older saves likely won't get the fixes, since the command itself was already skipped or bugged from a typo. The progress tracker room is partially meant to address this until all issues like this with the quest journal are fixed. Unlike the quest journal, which is its own separate system that runs apart from the switches and variables that advance and complete quests, the progress tracker room is directly tied to those things, and is much more accurate in detailing what is and isn't completed, and fixes to the progress tracker room affect all saves, rather than only new ones. If you're unsure if a quest is completed, or if the journal gets bugged like this, you can check the progress tracker room, since that will typically give you a much more accurate picture of the status of quests than the quest journal when things like this happen.

As long as you don't make these a dependency for more important quests down the line, it's fine.

One solution could be to make a cheat code that triggers the quest complete command?

they are problem only in the quest log because is a separate system. the quest are correctly complete and there isn't any problem in the internal game logic.

Regarding the Trade Network Quest, I only was able to talk to the one in Holmdow; The succubus trader does not work and I can't get the Trader in the port City anymore since I had already disposed of the Duke; Is there still a way to complete the quest?

why the succubus trader doesn't work? and you don't talk with the duke in vlester, but the merchant asking to reduce tax on merchant business at the earlier stage of complaiance.
