March went very well. Although there was a slowdown at the very beginning, because I had to re-render some images due to a mistake I noticed late, and I did some experimenting, which also “slowed down” the work (between quotation marks, because if I hadn't tried this now, I would have had to do it later). However, even with this, I made very good progress, I managed to do approximately everything I wanted to do.
In terms of numbers, that's more than 360 images and 1 animation. Two other animations have been set up for a few days, but I haven't had time to render them yet, I plan to do them tonight (at least one of them I'd like to do tonight).

With that, the Cora-Daniel, Cora-Miranda, Cora-Beth, Rick-Ashley and Rick-Miranda storylines have caught up, and now all in the same state. The Rick-Ashley-Miranda thread is a bit further ahead, and the Rick-Cora and Cora-Argay storylines are, of course, already finished.
The plan for April is to finish the first night. This could be quite a lot of work, even though there are overlaps with previously completed threads (for example, Cora can go on a date with Reg even if Daniel or Beth traveled to the island with her), and some of the locations will be the same, so I can use the same settings. So it's not going to be an easy ride, but I'm very optimistic based on the performance in March.

If I can do this plan, or at least come close to it, we will be very close to completion, as part of the second day is already done and the rest is not too much work. As far as the release is concerned, I would say that you can expect it in late spring or early summer at the latest. That's a pretty rough estimate, of course, but let's remain optimistic.

Hi guys, sorry for the delay in reporting, but I usually remembered to write this little piece when I was about to go to bed or when I was away from the computer. This time it came to me just in time, so I'll type it quickly before I get distracted again.
There's nothing much to write about, though. Fortunately, nothing really happened in April that is worth mentioning, neither in a bad nor in a good way. I'm making progress, during April I made 271 pictures and 4 animations. This surprised me, because all along I had the feeling that I was barely making progress. Although the number of pictures is actually less than in March, the number of animations I have made is four times as many.
So I can optimistically say that I can keep the summer release of Chapter 10. I already have a timeframe in my head, but I don't dare to say it out loud yet. Hopefully, I can keep up the pace of the last two months and then I can be more concrete on this at the end of May.

Another month has passed, and it flew by so quickly that I didn't even notice. But I am happy to report that May was a productive month. No fewer than 383 images were added to Chapter 10. And although I'm not quite at the finish line yet, I'm slowly approaching the final turns. So, I dare say a month regarding the release date: the end of July. Unless something comes up, but hopefully that won't be the case.
I really want to put Chapter 10 behind me, so I'll do everything I can to achieve this goal, and then a new chapter in the story of Rise of the Crime Lord can finally begin. Plus, with a little luck, Distant Horizon may even get a new update. Although this is still just a theory, I'll see how things turn out. I don't really want to think about it yet, because I want to get through Chapter 10 first.
