AAaaaand it's gone. End of an era, boys, end of February is the last update and then no more Orcs. I was so excited, I powered through the year waiting for the dev to come back and it's over already. Amazing, now there's more space for ntr cuck games, bad bobby saga and big brother remakes and shit AI clickers.
Here is the update on SS :
Key Points:
- Update Coming in Late February: The next update for Rise of the Orcs will be released by the end of February. This may be the final version of the game.
- Removal of "Orc Patrol": The upcoming version will remove the "Orc Patrol" feature.
- Final Version of The Fallen Order: Zombie Outbreak: The next update for The Fallen Order: Zombie Outbreak is in progress and is expected to be released by the end of March.
I want to take a moment to thank all of you for your support of the "Rise of the Orcs" project. I've recently received some feedback from subscribers and fans regarding updates, and I truly appreciate your patience and enthusiasm.
Currently, there are two main issues affecting the project:
Due to a malfunction in the 3D game engine, I've lost a significant amount of plugins and 3D models that I frequently used. This has made it incredibly challenging for me to continue development, as I'm now in the process of re-downloading and organizing every single 3D model and tool.
It's a slow and frustrating task, which has affected my motivation to work on "Rise of the Orcs." While I initially planned to continue using the old 3D engine to complete the game, I've decided to pause all development for now.
Instead, I will update the 3D game engine and reinstall everything in the new engine. This process will take time, and I'm uncertain how long it will take, but I aim to release the final version of "Rise of the Orcs 2: Dark Memories" by February.
The visual novel engine I'm using imposes a size limit for the Android version of the game (2GB). As the game's content continues to grow, even with constant image compression, the file size keeps increasing. Continuing on this path would lead to a decrease in image quality. Therefore, I plan to conclude this installment and move on to the next one.
Additionally, I will be removing the "Orc Patrol" feature in the final version. I initially wanted to create a "Roguelike" mini-game that would tie into the main storyline, but I've realized it's too challenging for a mini-game and could be developed as a standalone project.
Due to space constraints, "Orc Patrol" will be removed from future versions, and the unlock features will be integrated back into the main storyline.
Once again, I sincerely thank you all for your support. I'm thrilled to hear that there are players still looking forward to "Rise of the Orcs." This is the current plan for the project.
