Does the game ever get any ugly, mean, sinister, cruel male antagonists or monsters?

All the males look weak & effeminate. Usually in games with Male Domination tag, you get the cretins and low life's of society fucking the female protagonist. Like ugly men, ugly monsters, fat dudes, homeless, an evil soldier with an ugly face who is the most horrible person, evil aristocrats, just total and pure scum, but all the male antagonists seem to be shiny, happy, effeminate church goers?

5ed isn't that bad. But i admit, compared to 3rd a lot of the books seem to be castrated from a lot of more indepth rules.
I cut my teeth on 3.5e and I still love it. But I do prefer the combat on 4e. And I love how easy it is to get new people into the game with 5e.

No ugly that's for sure! Mean is debatable. And no monsters dominating the MC! We try to keep the domination family-friendly... Well, as family-friendly as a porn game can get I mean.

Thankfully no.
The fat ugly guy trope is way too overused in those types of games when trying to showcase corruption. One more point that makes RotWF a better game than most around here.
Awww! :giggle:

Just wanted to pop-in to say that Lena is officially my favorite character. If by the end of the game she doesn't have her own distinct romance route I will be personally offended! :sneaky: (y)(y)

Not to take any digs, but at certain times I've felt like the choices I made in the game didn't have an impact on overall outcome of things that happened afterwards. I hope that player choices will have a bigger impact in the future!

32 bits? That is quite old for a computer OS.
Not as old as it may sound, devices like tablets were stuck with 32-bit OS pretty long. Plus Windows on ARM currently only supports x86 apps, x64 is being added in the next update. As such there remains a niche market for x86 apps.

No pressure. Something about a convincing romance with a over 100 year-old nutjob makes it extremely appealing. And difficult to pull off, I imagine! But I have faith, this game has been nothing but excellent so far, I'm sure you'll manage! (no pressure at all);):devilish:
Don't worry, I already have most of it written in my head. Just need to put it to paper when the time comes! :giggle:

Yes, I'm trying to make the choices have a bit more of an impact.
I'll try harder!!

Also, I am sure everyone noticed, there are multiple types of answers you can give to characters. Blue - somewhat friendly. Yellow - sarcastic/I don't care. Black - Aggressive/Outright don't give a shit. Pink - Love route. I'm hoping the game is keeping track of these for me? As in, there was this time I met, I believe the Thief character - Labash(probably his name was?) and chose Black answer - as in I don't care. Then the game kept on bringing the character back and offering me even Pink route answers. At which point I was kind of shocked, to be honest. I understand that we want to sex everything. But, if a player chooses to outright be cold/mean/aggressive towards a character REPEATEDLY, then, SURELY, there is a reason not to force at least the PINK route of that character on the player. Just something I was thinking about, but it was something that bugged me, since otherwise there is VERY LITTLE point of choosing any answer of any character, just a simple "DO YOU WANT SEX/NOT" conversations then. Which is a great shame, since the normal exchanges between characters - about their families, homelands, motivations - are all very interesting on their own. As such, I just wanted to point this whole thing out as a piece of feedback. I think the choices in conversations should matter and the game shouldn't be too pushy with sex in cases where the player clearly had only bad interactions with the character, let's say.
P.S. Not to mention that the thief I brought in with my example literally tried to kill Eleanor, so it was very weird for the game to push him as a romance interest to begin with.

He apologizes though. Does that mean nothing? Are we the kind of savages that are going to let a measly murder attempt get in the way of a good sex scene now?

And yes the colored cards mean pretty much what you described, and maybe I should hide the romance behind a certain affection level, as I used to do. But the idea behind it is that I'd rather let the player decide, if you're being mean to him and want nothing to do with him, the option to continue being mean was there. If you want to reverse course and now, maybe go down the romance path, you can do it. Dunno, perhaps I like giving options too much.
