Overview:
In the mist-shrouded Komodo region, a young man awakens with no memory, rescued by a wandering poet and a spirited dancer. As monstrous creatures born from a sinister miasma ravage the land, he embarks on a journey to unravel the secrets of his past. Guided by cryptic visions and joined by unlikely allies, including tamable monsters and enigmatic mistresses, he confronts the source of the fog threatening to consume Komodo. Holy shit I remember finding this in some dank corner of the internet with a partial manual translation ages ago, big fan
Anyone know if this game had the signature Asgar foreigner protections and if they've been bypassed?

This is actually a much older game, iirc it never reached f95 cause the translator(s?) faced the Asgar vs. The West conflict that's been gone over in the thread of pretty much every other game in the series.

This is actually a much older game, iirc it never reached f95 cause the translator(s?) faced the Asgar vs. The West conflict that's been gone over in the thread of pretty much every other game in the series.

In-universe "chronological" or game release date? IIRC release-wise they are:

1. ROBF
2. ROBFS4U (this game)
3. ROBFEOY (Episode of Yuno)
4. Re:BF

Not 100% sure about whether S4U or EOY came first.

Ok, i'll bite... What is an ROBF? Looking at previous games, seems like this dev is an utter prick... do i need to be worried about the translation getting torpedoed or anything?

That's what the name means. Ragnarok Online Battle Fuck. The games are about having battle fuck gameplay with Ragnarok Online npcs and mobs.

S4U came first. I guess it could be played in any order because its the story of an important character in EOY near the middle/end of the game.
Hopefully EOY will get translated as well, i think its a better game than the new ones.
