I loved (Heather??). The older one.
I'm glad for a final update, but this game had waaaaaayyyy! to many lose ends. (And girls left)
Torn in two to be honest. I really liked this game, but only one update will be underwhelming for sure.
I mean with most of the girls, he only just started. (Except his GF).
Buuuut... a rushed completed I guess is better than a cliffhanger abandoned one.

heh, fucking that one (and robin’s mom) were the only thing that kept me interested in the game
Hopefully we get more Lana Scenes. She's the true gem of the game.

Most of the people craved for her. Thats why Fines Time was being made.

When they said "one last version", I assume it'll just be a brief way to close out the game. Not gonna get my hopes up. Maybe one final scene with every LI just to put an end to things

Um, this started in 2019. You're talking about 6-year-old renders. Obviously they won't measure up to renders today. Back when this came out, they were very good. It doesn't surprise me at all that they were praised at one point. Compare other VNs or adult games of the time: the vast majority of those weren't even close to as good as those in this. But as with any game that takes years to create, the renders that in the beginning might even be cutting-edge often can become passé and mediocre by the time you reach the end.

you know what? fair enough, but I was not talking about the reviews back in '19 but rather the first 6-7 reviews that are as late as 2022/23/24 calling the renders phenomenal. I can think of a LOT of games that have better graphics than this, so I was a bit surprised at the gap between my expectations and reality.
you do make a good point about the passage of time tho.

Most games don't look that good even today. You have a lot of low effort trash coming out so even though the renders for this game are definitely super outdated comparing to the top tier stuff, it's still better than like 80% of the games on this forum.
