Is there a reason we only do silver tier on here?
Rogue Courier is kind of niche all things considered. Plus Gold is $20 total, $10 more than Silver. Most of the niche games from my history of being on this board usually only attract "cheap" people. Most don't want to spend $20 for a porn game especially one like Rogue Courier.

I mean I support what I can but I don't have the cash to shell out for every single game I see. I'm donating to about 2 patreons at the moment. Like $20 is nearly the price for a full good indie game, I'm not paying that every month. If it was something like Project Helius where after a certain amount I just get the game and future releases I would totally donate, and have for that particular patreon. Patreon is a rich man's game, I can't be shelling out for 5+ games at a time monthly.

Yeah people are cheap here but that's everywhere in gaming. If it can be pirated people will do it if they don't want to pay. Hentai games don't need the functionality Steam has, and I don't want my friends to see my porn games on there. No other store supports that content apart from itch.io. Apart from wanting to support the artist (which I like to do) there's no real incentive to pay. Someone, somewhere will leak it, unless Patreon gets lawyers like Onlyfans has to take them all down. Even for stuff I've paid for I still like this forum cos it's the only place on the internet for people who play these games to congregate, and to find the best stuff.

I totally do wanna support your game King's Fall though, it looks really good.

Oh wow I wasn't expecting that lol. Thank you very much for your kind words. It's stuff like that which motivates devs everywhere.

So we have to wait for someone to link the old versions with the different girls or wait for the thread to be updated with links to them?
Why even design the game this way? Why remove content? Why would you not choose to keep adding to it?

If you're talking about sharing it without the dev striking down the link you can head to the 1st page, hit Report at the bottom of the first page, then it will auto fill the Report to Update where you can upload the link anonymously.
Which option am I supposed to choose when I report? I have version 0.4 (Tifa), 0.5, and 0.8 (Morrigan).

You can choose game update, the first option. And you could link all the releases you have, although the moderator/uploader may just take the most recent one only. At least the older ones have been removed from the OP as the newer ones became available. Perhaps bundling them all in a single archive or Mega link is the best option.

Okay, I'll do that. Here's the link, just in case.

"Unfortunately, your recent report has been rejected: Post in thread '[Others] - Rogue Courier [v4.09 Silver] [pinoytoons]' - we dont add older versions to the OP"

That's unfortunate. And odd. Some other threads do have older versions as well in the OP. I guess here they don't differ enough from the most recent one.

So I see the op was updated with 4.09 the same time that it was actually 4.10 that was released for silver tier...is there a reason it was updated a build behind?

On another note, I can agree with fireclaws and share that sentiment. I myself, until about 2 months ago, supported several artists and devs both across patreon, subscribestar, pixiv fanbox and fantia. I think somewhere upwards of $150 a month or something. Then I lost my income so I had to cancel everything :/

That being said, as much as I can appreciate the work indie devs put into their games (as I am an aspiring dev myself albeit still in the learning stages of the game) many many porn games are half assed or the devs seemingly get lazy, so I almost always would download stuff here to see if I felt like any were worth supporting.
Well now it's simply cuz I have no money but still.

The page gets updated no matter what build gets uploaded. 4.09 was all the Uploaders from F95 had so that's what was updated. Until someone uploads or share .10, 09 is what will be the current upload.

What an old game, how is it not complete yet? And exactly how many scenes are there and does he ever improve artwork (which doesn't need to be if he hasn't it's already great)

:BootyTime: Didn't realize some character appearance is only limited to certain version, anyway, I have linked the post with MEGA folder to OP.

So you have tutorials for everything, except your first actual fight against pirates (the one part of the game that actually needs a rundown before you engage with it) and your controls for the combat section are T and Y to fight?
When the rest of the game uses WASD to move and the mouse to click stuff?

That's awful.
Put your attack commands on the mouse. Don't put them dead-centre in the middle of the keyboard.

Actually you can use the mouse on the space shooter, even the tutorial explains that, you should've tried just clicking the skills buttons before posting things like this.

Actually, there is no tutorial for the the ship-combat, the game just throws you right into it. After repeatedly and irritatingly pausing the game to tutorialize basic things like moving and your questlog, even.
Also, the mouse does nothing in this minigame.
You should have tried playing the game before posting something like this.

No, snide remarks aside, even if you could click on the icons on the right panel of the screen (the ones that look like informational prompts, rather than buttons that you are intended to press) that would still be a sub-par control method.
It would require you to move your mouse up and down on the right-panel of the screen while handling the actual gameplay on another section of the screen entirely.

"Manually click buttons on a victual keyboard" works well enough for turn based stuff, but for something fast-paced like a bullet-hell shooter, it's not really a good idea, because it's hard to keep track of your mouse and your ship at the same time.

No, when I said 'mouse controls' I was talking about using the left mouse button to shoot, and the right mouse button for your alt-fire. Possibly steering your ship by moving the mouse too.

Alternatively, WASD to steer, space to fire and C to alt-fire.
F,R,V,Q and E would also be acceptable keys that are easy to press with your left hand while steering your ship with WASD.
T and Y feel completely counter-intuitive because they're far enough away from WASD that you can't press them with your left hand, but still on the left/centre of the keyboard, where it's akward to press them with your right-hand.

Think about hand-placement.
Do you want the whole game controllable with one hand? Put them near wasd.
Do you want the player to have left hand on wasd and right hand on mouse? Like when navigating on foot? Put shoot on LMB and RMB.
Do you want both hands on the keyboard for this section? WASD on left and pick something on the right hand side of the keyboard for 'shoot' and 'other-shoot' Something like J or K or L.
