It's still version 1.4e because Prime doesn't want to deal with 1.5x until it's ready. Doesn't feel like having to fight with Oni's code every time there's a small update.
For the 1.5x, Prime created a mini mod that brings the absolute minimum of the mod into play. Above all, the cell phone tracking system. The Minimod and an explanation of what it does and how to install it can be found here:

Asking prime a question on this forum isn't going to accomplish a whole lot. He swore to not use it anymore after an incident I didn't bother looking too deeply into. You'll need to use the discord for the mod if you want to get a direct answer.

The point of the mod is to change the game in ways that the mod's maker felt made it better, so... yes?
It mostly allows some customization of the game, and also some QoL stuff. Read the features section in the first post if you want a spoiled list of what it does.

So I don't want to play without the Prime Mod anymore.
The mod gives the game more depth and new functions that weren't in the original.
I'm also waiting until Oni is finished with Betsy. Prime only wants to finish the mod for the new version if Oni doesn't release a new mini update every now and then. As I understand it, Oni is a cruel coder and having to deal with it every time is a horror.
Here is my description of what the Prime mod does and it also leads to Prime's uploads to his current version of the game (version 1.4e).
(A complete package with everything included) For Linux, Windows, Mac and Android.
On top of that Prime has also fixed a few bugs that are still present in the 1.4e Vanila version.

Prime mod also seems to run considerably smoother than the original for some reason. Although I'm not sure if it's just in my head or he actually cleaned up the vanilla code base.
I can back this up. I wanted to play the latest version (1.5k), but it is considerably more choppy and slow compared to this mod. The game on 1.5k freezes and lags on almost all area transitions.
