They have been getting edgier for about a decade now, after disney bought them and slowly kicked out the old heads.
Used to be teaching the masses how to be inclusive, as they always tried to with the X-men etc.

Then they lost their marbles once the higher ups didn't need comics to appeal to anyone but be project for movies, and it became about excluding the masses for not being inclusive enough, while shifting that goalpost constantly to what is "inclusive". Inclusion by exclusion, pretty much.

No surprise the comics who had a short spike from the movies then suffered a rapid decline, and now it has affected the movies too. They like to claim that comics were declining anyway, but ignore the rapid growth of other types of comics like manga/anime/manwha who focus on stories first instead of mandating strict agendas.

Probably not feasible.

The stack for notifications and the stack for who's waiting in your room are only tangentially related. I could fix it, but it's not worth the effort if Oni is just going to revert it every time he releases a new version.

I don't know if people tune in to read those stories, but that certainly wasn't the reason I read Spiderman as a kid. I want him to battle Carnage and Venom and prove his character and mettle through struggle, not watch MJ fuck someone else while Peter stews in his pity.

The X-Men were always about outcasts, but are gender issues the only thing we have to ponder about? There are a myriad of other issues they could focus on, and yet everything ends in 'this character has this sex and this gender, be proud about it! If you aren't you are x or y or z!'

After the Witcher fiasco, I have started to look at photos of writers/ producers of series I follow. After seeing the face of the producer of the latest HoD season, I instantly understood why it was terrible lesbian fanfic. It becomes so much funnier and understandeable once you realise who writes/produces the media you follow, and you promptly stop following them.

Edit: Sorry if this is going off-topic or isn't really a good topic to discuss! I don't really have an outlet to discuss these things.

the best answer to give you with out reading is they make bad stories that aren't escapist fantasies. that's why we play porn games cause life isn't like a porno

No, no. Pay attention. The human torch and the think have smooch marks on their faces. Invisible woman isn't jealous because Gwen is smooching Reed, but because she hasn't smooched her yet.
