1: No, no it's not enough. Not for a game that's been developed for 2 years shy of a decade. You thinking that's enough shows you have an apologist's bias towards this game.
2: You're wrong because the first time I played this game a while back it took me 4 hours and 35 minutes to have every girl maxed out. A new player for this game won't be so inept they are going to spend double that amount of time before realizing "Hey wait, I'm just doing the same thing over and over again and there's no substantial reward or endgame here."
Well as you probably noticed, I did imply that I have played through this dozens of times. The replayability factor means that, at least for me, this isn't a 3 or 4 hour experience and then never touch it again sort of thing.
Unless you are actually angry with the the developer of this game, or angry at this game in particular for some reason, the fact that you're back in the topic despite your first experience being a while back tells me this game still holds some interest for you. Even if you're here because you're upset over how slow the development moves, it tells me that you are hungry for more. The fact that you know to the exact minute how much time it took you to finish the game the first time you tried it (assuming I suspend my disbelief at the prospect) would also indicate this game has your attention.
This game doesn't need apologists, if it ever needed anything at all, it would've been support from people who like the concept to prevent the developer from bowing to any pressure to turn this game more the direction of a kinetic novel (which this site is lousy with).
