Speaking of, does the dev keep a progress log anywhere that we can see how far along the version is coming? This is one of the games of this type that I still have much interest in lately.

No, he just makes a progress report then goes ghost for 1-2 months at a time. He said August and he's been delivering since Storm dropped so I'd assume it'll be early to mid-August. If not don't blame me man.

It's something that has bugged me for a long while; This game's style is clearly succesful, you take famous chicks many people already know and like, and make a date sim with a little grind, a clothing system and something to spice things up like exhibitionism and corruption. You don't even need to redesing them much if you go by the canon content. People are even capable of paying you considerable amounts of money for a long period of time, wether you deliver content, or not. Yet, Rogue-Like Evolution is one of a kind.

Yup. And after Storm is finished, I'd rather we have a general quality of life update rather than just jumping straight into another character. Just to smooth some things out and build on the current selection of girls.

I whole heartedly agree but we both know Oni probably wont go for that sadly. I'd love some date clothes, you mentioned it before and I never replied over it. Only two girls have the nighty so why not have all girls own a nighty etc but anyway it's not like Oni reads this thread.
Some clubbing clothes and a night club would be cool addition.

Yeah, the thing is this game is in a very comfy cycle and I really doubt it'll abandon it. Hell, I think this game will continue in this cycle until something shakes things up massively, like a mass exodus of patrons, the total sanitation of Patreon of +18 content, an asteroid destroying Earth or the heat death of the universe.
If Oni takes an update or two to add new quality of life improvements or content to the existing girls, like new clothes, a new location, new activities or things like that, he will have to do the same thing to all future girls, which will increase update times and possibly piss off some patrons, both those that want more updates and those that want new girls or more content.
After all, adding a new girl is the best way to create a substantial amount of content and make updates look "big", you have to do all her events, see her conversations and her reactions, fuck her, etc. Meanwhile, adding content to existing girls or something new will make the update look small, because if you have them all in 1000 in all stats, seeing the new content is easy.
The only thing we can hope is for him to continue what he is doing and adding a tiny amount of extra content to a girl with every new patch, this time is the second sex poses, let's hope that, when he is done with this, he adds new clothes.
P.S. If he does add new clothes, then please tell Oni to give Emma this dress as dating clothes. Ok? Cool, bye!

The way I'm looking at it, I would think that focusing on quality of life improvements would eventually make things easier in the long run.
As for content, if it's sexy, people are going to split from their money. There's plenty that could be done to make the updates look "meaty". We have an Obedience stat, but we've barely touched any BDSM content. That alone has a slew of potential clothing and scenarios that could be a gold mine of content. The current dating system could be built upon. Could add more locations and a lot of public sex scenarios. That could further be built upon by having a consquence of being banned from a certain location for a period of time. And that could be even further built upon if the girls gain the ability to request their own dates, only to find that you and another character have been banned from said location. Inhibition stat could lead to parties or sex games between the character and their girls. And, obviously, more slutty clothing for them to wear. Lots of fun stuff.
And sure, Oni'd have to eventually implement all of the additional stuff for the new girls, but at that point, the current selection would have enough content to the point where he wouldn't have to touch them again for a decent stretch of time. And that means when Oni does start bringing in newer characters, they'd be able to get the complete focus, which means they'll come into the game starting with way more interactions and content than the previous girls, allowing us to largely forgo the piecemeal thing we've got going on now.
But I'm just rambling. What Oni has going on right now gets him cash. And who am I to get between a creative and their money? It'd just be nice if it happened.
