My headcanon is that he can turn his powers off, but only for people he's touched enough

As established before, the deep lore of rogue-like:evolution, is that zero is professor's X secret weapon to stablish his mutant society, but for that he needs the birth rates to go up, hence zero is fucking everyone in the campus to make up for the other mutants and get the girls to agree with it.
Zero will repopulate the mutant population of genosha and asteroid M, just give him enough time and ladies.

Who cares about the mutant population, player character height is small as fuck 'cos he's probably 16. Anyways the update hasn't been released at a cursory glance @ Oni's patreon; Apparently later this week. Again I can't post shit because I'm not a patreon of Oni's atm so someone else will have to contribute.

So, yeah, he needs to finish some scenes, he needs to tweak a few scenes... BUT there are ONLY a few scenes. And not even the writing is done.

Seriously. 5 months to add 3 animations already in the game and 3 pages of text. I'd have a hard time justifying even one month assuming it's 40 hours of work a week.

Can Rogue even get pregnant? Would her powers just suck the life out of any sperm in her? Or out of a potential fetus?

It's a combination of "laziness+bad at coding+sucks at animating+maybe milking it" which a lot of people are used to already(some still dont). That's why every time oni makes an update post, people be like "ah yes, classic oni. This week means next few weeks" etc.

If I remind correctly, it's been confirmed Oni has a job - which is not this game - so I don't think applying working hours logic here, on what is technically a "hobby", helps.
The correct explanation is way simpler: Oni doesn't care for nor respect his public, no matter how much his paying patrons make it rain on him and does as he pleases, when he pleases, period.
