This last pages have made the few neurons I have left screaming, so let's fix the timeline with the most powerful thing man has even known.

At least she didn't shoot her countrymen in the back of the head execution style, and the sentinels were a form of government oppression, it makes sense she would be powerless against them. Now we have hungry rogue, that may also be indicative of current political horseshit.
Colossus can literally tear through sentinels. Wolverine can tear them to shreds. Storm can freeze them or strike them with lightning. Jubilee? *pew* *pew*. All I'm saying is, whenever she's in a fight, all she does is slow them down until another X-Men, usually Wolverine, comes and does something real. It never feels like she's a real X-Men. It feels like she's there to be the cool 90's kid and she happens to be Chinese. Like, she's not even the token Asian. She's the token 90's kid. I feel like they *had* to make her into a vampire to make her interesting.

dude chill that guy saying that at kid he doesn't like jubilee but now he love it, so yeah he doesn't mean bad thing, also taiwan dont do execute people by shooting the back of people head even china dont, it normal blindfold like in 70s USA that how the execution work in asia country but mostly never being used except someone who does terrorism charge like in japan or Thailand military junta .

i'm not taking side here what i mean is let's be good at each other and enjoy the porn game (y)
Thank you. This happens a lot. I go "here's my childhood experience. It's different because I'm Asian." And people will start shouting "WOKE! SHUT UP!" It's almost like they forget that's pretty much the plot of the X-Men comics...
Mutants: "I'm different. I want to exist."
Everyone else: "No! Shut up"

To be clear though, I'm neutral about Jubilee. Always have been. I just wish she had more thought put into her creation. Like, 90's and Asian isn't a backstory or an origin. Storm was worshiped as a god. Cyclopes' parent died/when missing. Rogue almost killed her first boyfriend. Wolverine was weapon X. Jubilee is just 90's cool and Asian.

Morph was literally always non binary, they were born a white blob and shape-shifted to be a boy to fit with society. As they grew older, they resumed their natural white form but they still experiment with a female form during their time with the Exiles.
LOL, I guess those that were whining about Morph being non-binary is an agenda were really the ones that had an agenda...

There are political things I agree with, and a lot of stupidity, in this thread. Let's all pretend that I agree with every single one of you, declare victory, and drop it. Sound good?

Some part of me felt as a kid that neither Psylocke nor Jubilee being/looking Asian was intentional.
Claremont giving Psylock an asian stripperninja body was pretty weird, but then again he also wrote the brief "Ororo isn't actually african, she's dark skinned with caucasian features - oh, and suddenly in the body of a fourteen-year-old" stuff so it's par for the course. That doesn't even touch on all the "kitty and rachel are totally fucking" Excalibur subtext. Or the Warwolves vore shit. Or the "guy who gets his fondest desire and becomes a musclebabe" thing in Excalibur.

Excalibur was possibly just an outlet for Claremont's fetishes.

Oh yeah, I remember reading about that about Claremont. I didn't get into Excalibur as kid. Fetishes aside, it at least sounded interesting. Is it worth going back and reading?

Also, is that when/where Kitty met/got involved with Lockheed? I've always wondered why a story about mutant got involved with magic and an actual dragon.
