Well, in their mod thread one of the modders mentioned that the team from the expanded mod are now doing code reviews and give out pointers to Oni, given that he decided to finally follow some basic object oriented programming structures (which is also why this update right now is such a nightmare - it's the transitionary period).
Up until this point, it was all Onis doing - except for one occasion where he asked patreons in a post to give him a pointer or two for a nasty bug he encountered.

It should however be noted that there's no close work relationship and all that this amounts to is them offering to do some sidehelp along the way, which makes sense as the mod would drastically benefit from having a game that can actually be worked with, instead of copy-pasted codechunks sprinkled across different sections willy-nilly, conditionals and so on and so forth.

From what I could tell in-between error messages cropping up there's now new things to spend level points on for Rogue at the very least. Not sure if other girls also gained some abilities along the way and how those will actually influence actions, as I started fresh and stopped after having to deal with so many errors. Other than that, an overhaul to the massaging (which btw drains way too much time per action done).
No new girls and/or interactions from what I could tell.

It's possible, but I wouldn't hold out any sort of significant hope for it. I do remember an older version of the mod having sound, but it was eventually removed.

a lot of renpy games have sound, some are even voiced (https://f95zone.to/threads/snow-daze-the-music-of-winter-cypress-zeta.142/). dev seems to be a bit clueless and it is a quite a bit of work to get everything pleasently together, though.

When i tried to giving Rogue a massage in my new game, i am getting error in this version. did it says bug or bugging on program or system in renovation or Developer miscalculated on coding?

So Jean is supposed to be coming to the game as girl #5 according to the Patreon poll from January 13th (6 weeks ago).
Looked through all the images of 0.990b and unfortunately, there is no Jean at all... not even a scrap of some rough draft image.

Yeah... I noticed how much of a nightmare this release was right after I UnRened it... the script file has most of the original code in it still... just # off so that most of it cant be read by Py... but thats only most of it...
