So is it still going to be based primarily on the Evolution artstyle? For me, the primary draw of the base game is that it's based on one of my favourite shows of the 90s/00s and Evo Rogue's design makes her one the Best Girls of All Time. Losing that would be losing a big chunk of what interests me about the game, and probably a large number of the game's fans in general - goes without saying, but, with all the available alternate versions available, Oni chose the Evolution setting for a very specific reason.

I think it is a very wise thing to be wary of new projects with ambitious goals. It's important to keep your expectations measured, as even best intentions don't always pan out.
You know what? More power to you.

A lot of us have been banging the same drum about certain aspects of the game and if this is what it takes to get the functionality and content we've been asking for for a couple of years now, so be it. I'm interested in seeing the art style for this new game. I'm sure I'll be fine with it either way, but it'll be nice to see if it can stand out enough from Oni's art, while still being somewhat reminiscent.

One thing I don't like is how you're basically "locked in" on certain actions when you're in your room lowering their addiction score. Can't go from in the middle of making out to touching them unless you go the long way of stopping altogether and then continuing when/if she asks for more.

The narrative structure is written out like this:

There is a "main" plot that shapes the game world. Things will be happening in the background/alongside your exploration of the school and the development of your relationships with the characters - how much you choose to interact with the story vs. laser focusing on seducing every single character is kind of up to you, but these story events will provide lots of opportunities to build up your rapport your with the characters. It's possible that some characters will be unlocked as the main plot develops - that's going to be a case-by-case situation and will most likely be used for villainous characters.

Then there are independent, parallel character arcs that develop your specific relationships. This is more like the examples you've given: it's how you'll unlock major milestones in each relationship.

Just in case you're wondering, we aren't keen on endings, and we're also going to keep away from plots that block off certain characters. You'll be able to keep playing in the world as long as you want.
Thank you for your answer. I still don't know if I'll be into that, because some of the most quick fun I've had in the game was cheating the girl's stats to higher levels at the beginning to make them more perverted and get a more active approach from them. But anyways, I'm all around interested in your ideas for the project. Good luck(y)

The updates have just added more girls, so who's to say he won't just finish Jubes and pack it in. I mean he won't cause then he'd have to start something else. Then again who's to say he won't just keep on adding girls and package that as a different game.

Can be mitigated slightly by increasing the girls max actions per period. Also other girls can't walk in on those interactions, at least not on android.

Hey everyone:

I'm *very* aware of lingering concerns about the art style we're pursuing in the new game, so I've whipped up a little demo to show just how easy it will be to use your preferred art in the game.

I hope this also provides evidence of one of the central tenets of this project: we are baking explicit support for mods into the foundation of the game. You don't like a scene, a piece of art, an item in the UI, whatever? Changing it to your liking will be as easy as dropping a folder into the game.



Go ahead and download the appropriate version of the game from /Current Build/, then download the mod folder in /Mods/. Unzip the mod and copy the /games/ folder into the /games/ folder of the base game.

Load up the game, and you will find familiar versions of Laura and Rogue wandering around (might take some exploration and/or waiting - they're just on a random schedule for now. if you're having trouble finding them, go to one of their rooms and just keep pressing Wait).

I hope this is a source of reassurance :).

If I could ask y'all for a favor - I don't intend to spend much time policing rumors here or elsewhere. If you see someone complaining about new art being forced on them (in a free game that in no way blocks access to the original... lol), it would be super helpful to me for you to politely point them to this post.

Hey, question. What girls can we expect once this gets going full steam? Just the current ones, minus some, plus some? Sorry if this has already been explained prior
Also Lauras room should be grungier imo
